This lovely three bedroom home (GM#389) is perfect for one family. It's spacious living area of 2,217 sq. ft. allows for a comfortable stay with plenty of room for the whole family. The home features lovely lodge decor, wireless internet, broadband television, air conditioning and its dog friendly, to name just a few.
You enter the home into a very large living area with one wall of windows. Comfortable leather furniture and a massive wood burning fireplace make it attractive and welcoming. Off the living area to the north and down the hallway is a king bedroom with a massive log bed frame. It shares the downstairs bathroom with a bedroom with 2 twins.
Off the living room to the south is the well-appointed kitchen. Cooking meals at the house will be a pleasure in this light and bright space, open to the dining area with its log table and benches. An eating bar provides extra seating. There is a sitting area for tv viewing off the dining room. A laundry room with a full-size washer and dryer and large garage are off the kitchen.
Upstairs is a private master suite with another massive log king bed. The bedroom will be your own private hideway with its fireplace, television, balcony and full bath. A small loft area is also upstairs with a small hidebed.
Miles of private deck look onto US Forest Service land with its wildlife, huge Ponderosa and fir trees and a feeling of truly 'getting away from it all'. The kids and your dog will love all the room to roam and explore. It's a short walk to the Glaze Meadow Driving Range and just a short drive to the Glaze Meadow Recreation Center.

We stayed at this home for a week around the Labor Day weekend, and were delighted with the experience. It's located in a quiet section of one of BBR's most secluded and upscale areas -- a good drive from the BBR front gate -- and it would be difficult to find more privacy and peacefulness. It's nicely furnished, with a comfortable feel, and it's well maintained, so everything works, including television and internet. Nice kitchen, well equipped, and sizeable eating and family areas. The bedrooms are comfortable and serviceable. A great fit for a 4-6 member family, plus a pet, looking for relaxation. The lot is on the edge of the BBR property, backing up to forest land. There are two big decks, at the back and on one side, overlooking trees, so you can always be in the sun or the shade as you desire, and only one other house is even visible. We used the gas grill on one deck several times, with good results. Up the drive and across the street is a well maintained walking trail that can take you through the woods, golf areas and even down to the nearest swimming facility, perhaps a mile away. Although the golf driving practice area is relatively close by, perhaps a quarter-mile away, the house is in a quieter area, well clear from the hubub of these rec centers, which is what we were looking for. We were especially impressed with management from Howells Co. in Sisters. Jody was extremely helpful and patient in answering questions about the area, making sure we were comfortable. All in all, we thought this house was an excellent value (similar properties nearby are priced higher), and we intend to return when we can.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

Summer season, the rate is $275/per night, with a 7 night minimum. A 10% discount applies during the shoulder season. Off-season,the rate is $220 per nt. Xmas and New Year's holidays are regular rates. Call for specific rates and dates. An 8% tax applies to all stays plus a refundable security deposit equal to one night's rent.
