The spacious fully equipped kitchen comes complete with top-flight appliances such as an over-sized fridge, side-by-side dishwashers, food warmer, granite counter-tops, gas stove, and bar with beverage fridge. Off the kitchen is a dining room area and living room with beautiful wood flooring and stone fireplace.

While Vogel Haus' high-speed WiFi lets you play and work from anywhere in the house, the den offers a quiet space for a 'working' vacation with library and half-bath. This multi-level home features comfortable bedrooms and baths with plenty of deluxe bedding, linens and towels. Spread out in the second living room area with a kitchen and lovely bamboo flooring. The outdoor patio and gardens are great for entertaining with a gas grill and secluded private hot tub. The home features 2 living areas, 2 kitchens and 2 laundry rooms. Te house was better than advertised. Spacious and yet a lot of private areas. Owners were terrific. Kitchen was fully stocked with every conceivable appliances and accessory. Tons of plates, pans, pots, etc. first class with two dishwashers! Priced right but don' be surprised with resort fee. Close to everything.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Yes, great place for large groups! The kitchen, bar, and dining area accomodate large groups. The Haus has been the site of wedding receptions, large parties, and reunions. When renting the whole Haus the extra kitchen and living area make things easy and comfortable. So glad they enjoyed their stay!

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at the Vogel Haus. We had a large group for the New Year and the house is so amazing that everyone could spread out, play games, hot tub, watch TV , Eat or nap and you weren't desturbing anyone else. The kitchen is incredible with every appliance in the world. You could even make homemade bread! We got up early every morning and walked downtown to some amazing breakfast joints. When others were napping during the day it was easy to walk downtown and do alittle shopping on my own and we even walked to the ice rink and rode the bumper cars, which was a blast. The owners came by and explained how to operate everything and said to call anytime if we had questions. They are great. I hope to make this an annual trip.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

great huge home walking to DT near the springs...that is really a nice facility. Close to grocery and easy commute to mountain. Owners checked in with us without being obtrusive. I Hate DISH as i dont know how it works and that is the only thing i did not like but I loved the wireless.... Great equipped kitchen and bar with loads of room for huge group.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: So glad the visit was a great one! Seems all our guests love the location, so close to downtown, walking distance everywhere. A new Natural Grocers just two blocks away across from the Old Town Hot Springs. We would be glad to write up some better instructions for the DISH satellite, as it provides so many channel options it is quite enjoyable and all our guests appreciate it. We always check in the first evening to insure that there are no questions left unanswered. Restaurants downtown are all great!

The Vogel Haus was the lovely setting for an amazing weekend away with our family. The house includes everything and anything one could possibly need. The owners were always available to answer questions and checked in frequently to see how the stay was going. The house is a short walk into town making it easy to experience Steamboat shops and eateries. The house is simply beautiful. I would highly recommend visiting the Vogel Haus and hope to return in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

We spent the weekend with our entire family in Steamboat Springs at the Vogel Haus and had a wonderful time. The home is beautiful, spacious, clean, and warm! The kitchen is perfect for a large family; we prepared several of our meals in, playing games, and enjoying family time. The house is completely equipped and great for children and people of all ages! The location is convenient and an easy walk to local restaurants, the hot springs and shopping. We woke to a foot of fresh snow and hope that we can return when the ski resort is open. The owners were more than helpful, stopping by to make sure that we had everything we needed and even took the time to show us around town. We will most definitely return to this great home!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Fabulous house!! We had a really great time visiting Northwest Colorado. The description of this location and property doesn't do it justice. Lots of house and space for everybody. The owners were both friendly and helpful in helping us make the most of our vacation time. We found out there is so much to see and do in addition to the skiing. I will definately return to the Vogel Haus - Thanks much.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
