after being on the road for 7 days. Quiet watched moose & twins every night at 630. So quite, love it - Thanks for all the supplies! Been here 3 days, seen 2 people and 7 moose! Wonderful time hope to come back.

What an awesome cabin. Loved the decor of cabin. What a "set up" in kitchen & bathroom. You're very generous with your supplies. Finally saw a moose yesterday morning and last evening saw cow and 2 calves in same grassy area down the road. What a quiet and tranqiul place. We hope to be back. THANK YOU!!

Loved the cabin... Lots of extras provided in cabinet, kitchen and bathroom. We saw a bull moose crossing the river first night and the cow and her 2 babies the next morning. We appreciated Mike telling us that the moose caves were in the yard the next morning. This is better than most cabins we've staye din for less money!! Thanks again We will be back.

Last minute reservation - so glad I scrolled down the list when searching Bings Landing! Wish we could stay for our second night but someone beat us to it! We will be back and will book in advance. This looks to be a great winter get away too. Short stay but great spot!

We had an incredible time here at the chalet. The wildlife did not disappoint - we saw two moose, a goshawk, many birds and fish. I only wish we had more time here before our next stop. Thanks for thinking of every ammenity we could possibly want. We were so comfortable! Also, the hot tub was a great way to end the day!

Thank you for this nice cabin. We loved the fireplace and the great rooms. Unfortunately we didn't use the Hot tub, but we will come back in a summertime, so than we will get into. I can only recommend it !!! Best wishes

We spent the holidays here at the cabin and loved it. With friends in the area, we tried our hands at ice fishing, enjoyed the tranquility and cross-country skied on the river. We will recommend Moose River Resort to our friends! P.S. The hot tub is perfect for below - zero stargazing. :)

Me and my hubby our 3 month old and my father all stayed here over a long weekend. We really had a great time! When I looked it up online the pic's didn't do it just!! After driving just about 500 miles it was nice to walk into a "just like home" log cabin. We will be back next year with our family. Thank you

Loved all the sun, and flowers around the cabin! Loved being by the water too. Spent most of my day with my mom takeing pictures on the dock. Beautiful plane, home touches, and place. I was here in 2007 before, its just as great as it was back then. Everything was impeckable. Hope wea are back sometime I love Kenai.

We had a great time. Your chalet is beautiful and we appreciated how well equipped it is. Loved the view of the river, saw two moose wading across one eveing and another up the drive. Watching Mike take off and land his float plane was cool too.

Best and Nicest cabin & Hosts in Alaska! Your Dog's are a riot, loved how they always came to say Hi. We had a great time fishing & sight-seeing, but my favorite part was always coming back to the cabin & watching the sunset over the river. Very cool. Hope to see you next year.

What a great time we had here - the chalet has all the comforts of home. We canoed up the moose river & saw moose at the waters edge. Saw 2 coyote and a small bunch of caribou in the Kenai flats. Fished with Dan H. from Anchorage and caught a 28-30" rainbow trout! (as well as a bunch of other good size rainbows, dollies and boat full of pinks). The hot tub was perfect after a long day on the water. Wish this were closer to home. P.S. We have rented cabins in many parts of the U.S. & Europe and this one is, by far, the best equipped. If you had a dishwasher we might never go home :)

We've had a wonderful stay in your Chalet. The location is beautiful and your chalet is comfortable, homey and inviting. We love everyting about it, from the way it's decorated to the robes and hot tub. We saw moose several times. We also went salmon fishing with Jim J. and went on a canoe trip from Skilak Lake to Bings Landing on the Kenai river. We're headed for Homer and halibut/salmon fishing is in the works for tomorrow. This has been the perfect place to spend our 25th wedding anniversary. Many thanks for your hospitlity.

This was our second stay at the Chalet we came alone this time. We had a wonderful post Valentine and Pre-Anniversary of 5 years weekend. It was great! Peace, quite, sweet sernity and the only reason we even left the cabin was to go Hot Tubbing we did see two Moose as we drove in by the turn off to the property. Thank you so much for letting us stay again it was just waht we needed.

Thanks for a very pleasant stay. It was great to not hear a human sound from bed time to wake up. We noticed Mike left with his boat to go Moose hunting, so we'll not disturb the hour to check out. This is absolutely the cleanest and best furnished Chalet we ever stayed at.

Everything from the chickens to the gardens to the river + the cabin - Perfect! I love the view from the bed - waking up with a view only God could have designed! What a place! We came to AK with my father & my husband's mother to show them a trip of a lifetime. We found it! The scenic beauty and solidarity of the cabin's location just enhanced our experience, and the cabin, or should I say, lodge, was fully equipped for meeting all our needs. Comfy beds, tastefully decorated rooms and a loaded kitchen ready for fresh halibut + salmon dinners just can't be beat. The hot tub also hit the spot after a long hike (longer than we planned) to soothe aching muscles + bones. It was also a great spot to relax with a drink and wish upon shooting stars. In summary, we really loved it here and wish our stay could have been longer. Will be back...

What a great stay we had! Thank you for sharing this cabin with travelers from other parts of the U.S. & abroad. We enjoed the cosy cabin, the bubbly hot tub, private landscape and the great smelling flowers. We felt welcome from the moment we arrived. We knew we were a home when Moby and Puppy would come visit. We will be sharing our stay with family and friends. I'm sure we will be back as well as the others we share with. FAVORITE EXPERIENCES: * Watching the Moose eat from the waters at the cabin * Driving to Seward (beautiful) * Floating the waters at Cooper Landing * Visiting with family, reading Mike's story of the bear * Saw two Sand Hill Cranes across the river feeding in the grass around 8 pm * Two to three Moose feed in the river around 5-7 pm - fun to watch * Several Eagles spotted by cabin - eating, in flight, & in trees * No bears spotted, but friends saw some by combat zone at Coopers Landing.

Thank you for a outstanding stay, we really appreciated your special efforts to provide a great time for our first visit to Alaska. Especially enjoyed your ability to cue all the animals to show themselves just when we wanted to see them. This is Great Country and we really want to return God permitting. Please don't change a thing. Its wonderful as is. The Kenai Peninsula is certainly the most impressive area we have seen in our visit to the state. There are more float planes and fishing boats than we have ever seen anywhere, we understand why all the tourist we met were happy to be here and came with a purpose (fish). The food is exceptional and the sevice was just fine - we took a zillion pictures and will show them all over New England, so you may have visitors as a result. Thanks Again our Love,

There isn't a time either driving or walking and when you turn the corner you can see a moose. We went Fishing out of Talon Air Service (Makey Lake) fly out to Big Lake Falls. We caught 10 Silvers and 5 Red salmon. The fish were all schooled up and there was thousands of them. Then there was bear watching a brown bear and her 2 little ones, really cute the sow was about 400-500 lbs. There was a lone black bear as well. The bears were about 5-10 yards away. While we were fishing we hiked to Russian River Falls (Cooper Landing) to see more bears and the fish jumping GOOD Hike (about 2 miles one way-easy) Mike & Jaci have been wonderful hosts and I (we) would recommend this place to anyone. Well we need to start packing we are heading to Homer for a overnight Halibut Fishing boat. Should be Fun.

What a beautiful Chalet and so nice to have great "owners" to go with it. We had a relaxing, yet exciting experience. From halibut and salmon fishing, to rainbow trout fishing. Soldotna is beautiful. Homer, we loved the Salty Dog :) It took us so long to accept an invitation to come to Alaska from our friends Jon & Mary - how crazy we must have been? We thank you for a beautiful view everyday and just extraordinary accomidations, but best of all, new friends from Alaska. We will return with our children and share the experience with them. Kept us duly entertained while basking in the hot tub we came down from Anchorage to find peace and relaxation we were welcomed by true Alaskan hospitality. This cabin is truly charming a life's work of experiences, nights spent whittling away by the fire, and sincere craftsmanship. We love the spot! The long walks on the frozen river were invigorating. The big bed is super cozy. We'll be back!
