Amerind townhome description
Amerind Luxury Townhome, Breckenridge, Colorado
The nine townhomes of Amerind were the first luxury townhomes built in Breckenridge and enjoy one of the premium in-town locations. Few other downtown locations have a direct view from the front deck out to the vista of the Breckenridge ski peaks. The complex backs up to the Arapahoe National Forest and the view from the rear deck is beautiful. The Blue River runs along the south end, and the trout can be seen from the ridge that borders our complex and the National Forest. The Peak 9 lift is a short walk of 500m and the Maggie and Main Street shops are also a short 450m walk . No need to worry about parking. If you are not inclined to walk or wish to visit Peak 8, the Breckenridge shuttle stop is just outside on our street.
Our townhome was professionally decorated and has three master suites, one on each floor, The largest suite on the top floor is large and spacious with vaulted ceiling, king size bed and large chaise. It is equipped with a large HDTV and DVD. It is completed with a large master bath with both a walk-in shower and a sunken Jacuzzi tub with a window looking out to the lodgepole pines of the National Forest.
The main floor has a large family room that looks out onto the peaks of Breckenridge and has two large leather recliner sofas, full entertainment systems, and is furnished in a stunning combination of modern and mountain primitive furniture. We added the few nails and screws in the primitive pieces since each is more than 150 years old. There is a mountain stone, wood burning fireplace, with cords of seasoned wood stored in the single car, heated garage. It is complimented by a dining area (seats eight) and a fully equipped, spacious kitchen with all the options you would expect in a luxury townhome. This floor also has another master suite with queen size bed, entertainment systems of cable TV, DVD, VCR and a full bath with combination shower/bath tub. Each bedroom has its own telephone and humidifier and there is a large central humidifier and two telephones and FAX machine in the family area.
The ground floor has a washer/dryer, full sauna, and the third bedroom suite with twin beds, a large desk, and a game/entertainment system set with Nintendo/Play station setup. It also has its own full bath with walk-in shower. There is a door out to the single car heated garage, with additional parking for a second vehicle by our front door, and additional parking in our guest parking area just a few steps away.
There are many original ski signs throughout our home that we bought when Breckenridge changed the ski signs in 1985 and auctioned these for charity. These and the Earl Biss paintings are very expensive and inventoried on checkout.
The heated garage is home to four mountain bikes, ( two adult and two teen complete with helmets and tire pump). There is also a good selection of skis, ski poles, and boots in various sizes for guests use. There are also two complete sets of golf clubs for guests who wish to take advantage of Breckenridge’s premier 27 hole golf course. These are provided for your use at your own risk, and we expect you to replace any item you might lose or damage, Our property manager checks the sports equipment. He is also available at all times to handle any problems that might occur. We want your stay in our townhome to be just like you were staying in your own mountain place, complete with all the things you don’t need to buy. (Spices, condiments, etc. We only ask that you replace anything you use for the next guest.
Welcome to our mountain retreat with the best of all worlds!

Year Purchased: 1984
About: Our family has stayed and been skiing just about everywhere, including Europe and Asia. We chose Breckenridge because it is just like stepping back into the past, no glitz, just a small, beautiful Victorian town with some of the best skiing, and restaurants anywhere. With four mountains and ski runs for the beginner to the expert, and places for everyone, it is hard to beat. Almost all of our friends who have visited Breckenridge have also chosen it for their destination time and time again. You'll find this for yourself. Our townhome is about two blocks from the Base 9 Lift which is the primary lift for the schools, kids activities, and the Maggie Pond (great ice skating) which is the central location for everything. The town center also begins here. No need to worry about parking since it's a short walk to either the lifts or to town. The free Summit Stage also stops just in front of our house should you not choose to walk or want to go to any of the other lifts or mountains (or transfer to Keystone, Copper Mountain, or Arapahoe Basin). We've kept this place through the years just for this reason as our kids have grown up. We guarantee this will be a memorable experience.
Views of Peaks 7-10 to the front , and the Arapahoe National forest in the back. The Blue River runs just at the south end of our complex of nine townhomes. Dramatic exposure that provides breathtaking views of the mountains at sunrise and sunset.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
