  La Casita was a very comfortable place to stay during our Spring Break in the Florida Keys. The fact that it was on a canal so close to the ocean was great for fishing and kayaking straight from the back yard. Very easy to find location was and a nice central point to visit many attractions in the area. Quiet location. Comfortable bedrooms with lots of storage. Big kitchen and comfy furniture. Judy was great to deal with and made sure we were comfortable when we arrived.

  Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

  The property description was accurate. The property was very clean, included a well-stocked kitchen and a good location for many attractions. We had good connectivity for the laptop. Very nice back deck that looked toward the ocean. The neighborhod was quiet. I would recommend this property. It is a good value for your dollar. The owner was easy to contact and able to answer all questions. She called the day following our arrival to verify that all was in good order.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing.

  We had a great week at "La Casita" the location was great. The house was clean and well maintained. The owners were great and provided excellent information about the different acitivities, attractions, restaurants and general things to do in the area. We loved the fact that we were able to park the boat right behind the house and the ocean was right there! We also enjoyed doing some fishing from the back of the house and that you are able to clean the fish out there! We would definitely recommend "La Casita" to all our friends.

  La Casita means home away from home....this house truly suits that title. It was clean and fully equipped with all we needed for our 3 week vacation in Marathon. We enjoyed lounging on the back deck on the canal with a view of the ocean. It was a short drive to Sombrero Beach, close to restaurants and lots of attractions to visit. Being in the middle of the Keys made it easy to drive to Key West or up to Key Largo for the day. The owners were very helpful with any needs we may have had. I highly recommend this rental and look forward to a return visit some day.

  This was a wonderful experience. I have made online reservations in the past and have been sorely dispointed. The last place we reserved was in Klamath Lake Oregon and we nik named the place the Bates Motel,after the place in the Movie "Psycho". But this experience however was fantastic. The Home is in great condition and every thing a family could need was there and in great condition as well. We rented a boat for a day at a place near by, and there are plenty of places to do that. We spent that day fishing and enjoying the water, but the best fishing was right outside the "La Casita" off the dock. The owners of the property are very friendly and accomodating. It was a pleasure to work with them and wonderful experience for us.

  The description of the rental was completely accurate however I was pleasantly surprised that the house was larger than it seemed in pictures. The property was clean and well maintained. The owner provided great customer service, in fact went above and beyond my expections. I have already recommended this property to friends. The location is minutes away from great fishing and the neighbors were very friendly and helpful. We found several good resturants close by, our favorite was lazy days. The location was an hour away from Key West, so we sent a day there also finding great food and shopping too. My family and I had a great time, and when I got home to unpack I had all clean clothes thanks to the washer and dryer in the house :)

  We had never been down to the keys before so this was all new to us. We showed up early Friday morning. To our pleasant surprise we were getting a very clean, spacious, full stocked house! We packed tons of food hoping there was a grill outside and there was. Not to mention if we brought a boat we would have had dock space right in front of the patio to the house for easy in and out access. The block was nice, all houses pretty well maintained, neighbors were quite as there were no parties, or crazy town drunks. It is very close to 3 main parks that we went to, also is only about 1.5hrs or less from bottom of keywest (which is a great drive) and about 10 minutes from a nice little beach/city park. Without a boat there is quite a bit to do, they have jet ski rentals close, snorkeling trips, deep sea fishing and day cruises. We were there for 7 days and stayed occupied without a boat.
