The description in the listing and photos very accurately portray this wonderful home. Everything was spotlessly clean and in great working order. The owners were helpful in providing good directions to the property and to options for bicycling. We heartily recommend this property and would be pleased to return in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

I frequently use VRBO. However, I have never had such a great experience as I had at this location. The small touches of flowers, bottle of wine, and personal touches by the owners made us feel welcome. The owners called after we had arrived to make sure we had found everything we needed. There was enough room that we could each have our own spot, yet the family room and dining area out back were great for congregating. Close to restaurants, yet also a great kitchen to cook in. Close to Many great wineries. I highly recommend this location. We hope to come back to stay again this next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with young children.

We’ve stayed in many rentals that just weren’t very comfortable. Eagle Crest was just as comfortable as home (the master bed even more comfortable!) but with added privacy and tranquility. After a day of wine tasting, it was nice to relax on the plush couches and read, or play a game of chess or cards. The house is well stocked, not missing any amenities or comforts. The dirt roads surrounding the home make for beautiful walks through forests and vineyards. The owners are very helpful and enthusiastic about suggesting wineries and restaurants. Even the drive from Portland airport was pleasant because of the lovely scenery. My only complaint is that we didn’t have more time to spend. We will definitely be back.Recommended for: Romantic getaway.

We felt the welcome mat was out when we saw two chocolate bars waiting for us on the kitchen counter with a bottle of local wine. This two story home is spotlessly clean, the linens are beautiful with many amenities provided. There was plenty of privacy for two couples as well as spacious gathering areas in the living room, dining area and kitchen. We ate in for several of our meals looking out on the treed grounds which invite exploration. We enjoyed having a fire a couple of nights and cozied up with the provided dvds after some long days of wine, olive oil and salami tasting in the local communities. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eagle Crest.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This was the perfect house for a girls wine trip to the Dundee area. It was close to town, but also secluded and private. The living room/kitchen area was perfect for constant visiting and the outdoor patio area was an added treat. The pictures really do tell the whole story! It was very clean and comfortable. The owners were very responsive and helpful. I came back to work and recommended it to all my co-workers looking for a quick getaway weekend!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway.

We had a family wedding in the area so we decided to make a weekend of it at the house. The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Everything was in great shape and we really enjoyed having the wood burning stove for the cool evenings. I was surprised at how much more open the home was than I thought it would be from the pictures. One great thing about the house is the location. We spent an afternoon walking down to two tasting rooms that are in the area. It is quite a climb back up to the home but if you are at all ambitious it is worth doing on a nice day. The walk has some great views and not having to drive is a major plus! We were also happy to find out that even though the house seems remote, the local pizza place was happy to deliver there. There is also a slightly overgrown but still functioning looking horse shoe pit in the back yard, but we couldn't find any horse shoes. My only regret was not bringing our set up. If you have some, bring them along for some outdoor fun. All in all it was a great place, you can tell the owners put a lot of work into keeping it in nice shape.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Eagle Crest. The house is well maintained, clean, and spacious--perfect for our party of six. We felt so at home that we decided to stay in one night and cook dinner with local produce from a farmer's market. The house is located amidst several lovely wineries and the nearby Red Hills Market, a delicious spot for lunch. Liz and Chris provided plenty of helpful information regarding the many neighboring vineyards, and we had a marvelous time hopping from one to the next. Overall a terrific rental and a home we would gladly stay in again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.
