My husband and I enjoyed this beautiful luxury home, just the two of us, for our anniversary. The house is large enough to get lost inside, but quaint enough to feel right at home. The kitchen is a chef's dream come true with a full size freezer and a complete separate refrigerator. The decor is like stepping into the cover of a Sunset magazine. I recommend this property to anyone looking to hike, swim, or simply finish a great read. The views from the house are breathtaking, the wild life is bountiful and the peaceful serenity of nature surrounds you. The town of Julian is just a few miles up the road and I recommend The Julian Grille for lunch or dinner. We had a spectacular time and hope to return soon with family and friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

I highly recommend this spectacular view property. The pictures do not do it justice. We rented in Sept 2011 for five days and had our out of state family stay with us for our son's wedding in Julian. The accommodations were superb, the owners made every effort to ensure our satisfaction. Fresh flowers, beautiful bowl of welcome apples, bedding, linens, towels all high quality - just bring your suitcase and you are ready to go. The manager was easily accessible for questions and assistance before and during our stay.You can have a wonderful hike right from the front door. It happened to be warm, while we were there and used the beautiful black bottom pool daily. My wife's family (12 total) still is raving about the wonderful time we had together, and yet the house is so large, you can have your private space as well. We did a lot of cooking and the house is fully stocked for those that enjoy cooking. Favorite room was the hugh screened in porch where we could watch the sunsets and have our meals. This would also be an ideal retreat center or small group get away. There is a lot of fun and interesting things to do in Julian. We are already looking forward to our next visit!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
