The Tahoe Keys Resort in South Lake Tahoe offers just about everything one could want in a vacation. It is beautiful all year long and there is always something to do - no matter the season. The Keys offers boating, swimming, fishing, water skiing, jet skiing, tennis & even volleyball. And that's just the summer activities! In the winter, there are several ski slopes to choose from - Heavenly, Sierra & Kirkland are all close. If you prefer the night life, there are 5 casinos just a short 5 mile drive. There are restaurants for everyone's budget and lots of cute tourist shops. I love the spring & fall when the crowds are gone and you can explore the coves, mountains, hiking trails & bike paths around the lake.

We love Lake Tahoe because it is an all season resort area. We have 3 children and have been coming here for over 30 years, It was time to buy a property of our own. And this one is perfect! It is a great home for large groups, family reunions & corporate retreats. The home has 5 bedrooms & sleeps 16 and it is on the water. We remodeled all the bathrooms and added a master suite with a rock fireplace & large bathroom with dual showers and a Japanese jetted soaking tub.

The owners were easy to work with and get a hold of. The house was clean and large enough for my entire softball team to celebrate our Tahoe retreat. Pool table downstairs kept us having fun. The kitchen was spacious and was great for big group meals. The living room was cozy and fireplaces kept us warm at night. The neighborhood was safe and quiet and close to the casinos, but not too close. The bedrooms were great and showers has hot water. Fully equipped kitchen was easy to cook in. Great place for your Tahoe retreat!

The home was found in great condition with all the ammenities that were promised. It was in a great location with a large garage for cars and skiis. The ability to be able to bring pets was a big plus. It was clean and we had enough room for our party. I would return and working with the owner was a pleasure.

Very nice home that slept my large party very comfortably. Cab rides to the casinos at night are very easy and affordable and its location puts you within close proximity to many of the ski areas. The price is great. Overall I have no complaints about this home and in fact really enjoyed it.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with young children.

We totally loved the house. The house is roomy. It fitted a total of 16 people. The kitchen is gorgeous!!! I love the Japanese hot tub. I would recommend this house again!!! Everything is up to date. There was enough beds. The house is just minutes away from everything. We all loved the house!!!

From the moment we walked in we could not get over how beautiful the house was. It was something out of a magazine. The sophisticated decor was AMAZING, not what you would expect in a cabin in Tahoe, where usually everything was from the 1970s. It was elegant and clean and yet very comfortable.

We got to the cabin and the first thing someone said was "this is like MTV cribs!" The kitchen was equipped, TONS of silverware and dishware. There were 15 of us and we all fit comfortably. The cabin was clean, tons of towels were laid out. One thing I would recommend for a large group is to bring sleeping bags - lots of sleeping space but can be chilly. It was a 10 minute drive to Heavenly and the Casinos. We went grocery shopping, bbq both nights, played board games - it was a blast! We did not know the wireless password so I emailed the owners and they answered right away. It was such a great weekend, we would definitely stay here again!

I am still waiting for a response to my emails, or any apology for the awful treatment at this rental. The property was not cleaned when we arrived and had to entertain several children, a pregnant mother and an elderly couple for several hours before getting access to the property. Once inside we were very disappointed - table tennis, air hockey and pool where all unavailable. They were contained in 1 broken unit rather than individual pieces of equipment. The hot tub was cold. The kitchen dated - 4 coffee makers - 3 broken - no kettle. Only one TV worked - various remotes huddled together some with flat batteries, no information as to which hardware they worked. The worst thing was the clear irritation demonstrated by the owners when we eventually were able to speak with them. No apology or even understanding, very little help.
Owner response:Phil we are so sorry that your rental was not up to your standards. I will admit that it was upsetting to find the home not ready for you. There was a miscommunication with the housekeeper. She had a schedule & should have had the hone prepared for you. She was contacted and immediately cleaned the home....new bedding, new linens, kitchen, baths, etc were all cleaned immediately. The felt on the pool table had been damaged by a previous renter. I was waiting for replacement parts - that has all been repaired and replaced. There was nothing wrong with the hot tub - the renters had pushed the wrong buttons and put it in sleep mode...temperature was at 90 degrees. The spa person was out the next morning and corrected the problem. I am not sure what you didn't like about the kitchen - all new stainless appliances, new granite countertops, wine refrigerator, recessed lighting, breakfast bar...everything was brand new. And TV's...brand new 42" HD TV in the living room, brand new 42" HD Plasma in the master. This home is very popular & heavily rented. Sometimes items are damaged or broken - we make every effort to fix everything as soon as possible.
