I was very impressed with the house and property. Without doubt, the nicest, cleanest, most relaxing vacation rental I've ever experienced. The house is large with a very open design. It's well furnished, the appliances are new and in perfect working order. The outside decks are screened, quiet and private. The rooms are large with plenty of space for everyone. I would definitely recommend this property to my friends and family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.

We recently stayed at this property with a group of friends. The decor was stunning, and the living space very spacious and comfortable. We enjoyed the screened in back porches, especially being able to watch the hummingbirds work their feeder. It was a lovely easy beach retreat. Beautiful home! We enjoyed our stay and found the house was a great place for our family. The layout was interesting and allowed for both indoor & outdoor fun. The owners were available and prompt with any questions/concerns we had. Wonderful community and amenities.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

All that said we had a wonderful time in your house and thank you for opening it up to us for our summer vacation. Everything was a perfect fit for us and the easy layout, large dining table and furniture was fantastic and family friendly. An easy walk to the garbage on topsail. And thanks for the lovely table arrangement left for us on Sunday. We are sad to leave as there is always so much to do in Bethany and Rehoboth! A first for us at Funland and a great way to spend the day! Have a wonderful vacation this week yourselves with good weather and easy relaxing days. We had a wonderful time at this rental property. The owners were extremely accommodating and helpful both before and during our stay. Helped us locate photographer and great restaurant ideas during our stay. The house was incredibly clean and very well stocked with dishes, glasses, etc. The screened in porches are a wonderful asset and provided a lovely, cool setting for morning coffee and afternoon chats. The beach is a short drive away, but it was so nice to get 'home' and be in a very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. We would definitely stay at this home again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Dear Claire and Brad Back in Buffalo after a euphoric almost six days in your beautiful Salt Pond,DE home. Every aspect of it is so appealing. The layout the light the decor the natural quiet setting.The comfort and pleasure were extraordinary and we enjoyed it all. But what this has done is to convince us that any return stay in Bethany will have to be in YOUR home provided you will rent to us in future years! I stayed at this lovely home with friends for the 4th of July weekend. It's beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised when we walked in, while it looks nice in the pictures they really don't do it justice. It's large (the 7 of us were extremely comfortable), bright, clean; beautifully decorated in a nice beach-y style with lots of comfortable and cozy screened porches. The ceiling fans and porches were perfect after the kids got fried in the 100+ degree heat at the nice community pool and needed a break with Cartoon Network. It's a good walk or bike ride to the beach and a quick drive (5 mins). The owner is completely lovely. Sadly we only stayed 2 days, lamented by us all. Also note, there's a really good seafood restaurant just outside of the neighborhood where we sat outside and watched the fireworks while they plied us with fish, cocktails and dessert. The stay was perfect!! Thanks Claire and Brad. We would definitely go back again, but would stay longer.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway.

The listing description and photos accurately reflected the rental property. Beautiful house in a beautiful neighborhood. House is convenient to grocery and restaurants and 5 minute drive to the beach. Plenty of room--there were so many spaces we never even used! We recently vacationed for a week at this beautiful home. I have rented in other places for many years and this house was exceptionaly clean, very pristine. The beds in all the rooms were very, very comfortable and the kitchen was very well equiped for cooking meals. There was a wonderful supermarket just was 1 minute from the house. Having a pool and playground for the kids was such a plus, and the bike riding paths were so great to have for our family. The location of this house was perfect to the beaches and other activites in Delaware. The boardwalk in Bethany was only 5 minutes from the house with plenty of resturants to eat in, ice cream spots and gift shops. I would definitely recommend this home to friends and family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, girls getaway.
