  My wife and I decided to have our honeymoon at this wonderful home as we are living in Wyoming and really missed home! When we arrived the owners were on site ensuring we had everything we needed before we enjoyed a full week at this wonderful home. The pictures truly don't give it the justice until you are onsite and able to take in the views and the newly renovated home. The house is in like new condition and very comfortable to make yourself at home. The boat dock is great for swimming and/or docking your boat and being in an area you can enjoy without much boat traffic or noise. If you are looking for a home to enjoy the water and enjoy the peace and quite this would be the home to consider. Thanks again for a wonderful place to enjoy a very great week for my wife and myself!

  The cabin was wonderful. I would recommend to anyone wanting to enjoy the area. It is very roomy and easily accommodates multiple families for a get together. Thank you.

  We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Everything was clean and most everything you might need was in the cabin. We had a family get together in the area and it was wonderful to find a cabin so close to the area we needed. Loved having the boat/fishing dock! I wish we could have stayed longer to take full advantage of that. It is very quiet and peacful and worth the drive out to it. The kids loved the loft bedroom! My only suggestion would be if you are coffee drinkers you might want to bring your own cups. That is the only thing we didn't find and I may have over looked them. We found plastic cups that worked. I read one review that mentioned the water but we never smelled the "sulpher" water even when we showered and the bottle water was very convenient in the kitchen. The owners went above and beyond to take care of us. Thank You!! Hope to stay here again.

  Should have stated 85+ steps down to the water, and no working AC in the "AC boat house". Poorly supplied kitchen, as well as un drinkable tap water. Not to mention horrible sulfer smelling water for showers , dish cleaning etc. This was not diclosed until 24 hrs before rental.

  Owner response: The dock is down from the bluff on Elk River which requires many steps to gain access. An electric tram is available to visitors who may need a ride down or a lift up. The dock is not air conditioned. The water to the cabin is well water and has a sulfur smell when you use hot water. Disclosure of well water is in the advertising; therefore, bottled water for drinking is supplied. The owners' telephone number is given to guests so that items needed can be addressed immediately to make the guests' stay as pleasant as possible.

  It was very nice! We had a blast. We were able to swim and fish. The kids caught 12-15 fish and had a great time. The washer and dryer was a bonus! I would recommend this spot to friends and family.

  Very nice all had fun very nice on the river no growds very good getaway spot. Would be nice if they left a basketball good court to shoot hops we picked up our own. Caught some fish at the dock second cast down the side hooked in a landed a 3.5lbs. large mouth caught some catfish setting some lines fishe were located 20feet off the bank and about 7.5 foot deep seem to be the depth. took fish everymorning off that walkway going in on a jug line set. Cabin very much like home we enjoyed it.

  The owners were great to work with and worked with us. They are kid friendly as is the location. We had a great weekend fishing on and playing in the water from the large dock. The town, Grove, was a perfect get away for the ladies to shop and had nice restaurants that we will try next time. The town and surrounding area had flea markets (shops) and Har-Bar Village that was a nice treat for the antique hunter or buff. We thoroughly enjoyed ever minute we spent here. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this family owned property to our family and friends. The pictures didn't do this place justice! It is very well maintained and clean. The owners were very friendly and live close by if we needed anything, which we didn't they had everything all ready for us. Loved our stay, Thank you for a perfect family weekend!
