Be one of the first to enjoy our newly furnished, bright and spacious single family home in a private and secure gated community! Located in La Quinta, only a 30 minute drive from Downtown Palm Springs and the Airport, it is a great spot to unwind and enjoy the desert climate with 350 days of sunshine per year and many activities to enjoy. We recently purchased our home and everything is BRAND NEW including furnishings, kitchenware, appliances, bedding and towels and very comfortable high quality beds.
Our home has an expansive tropical backyard with a saltwater heated pebbletech swimming pool and spa, along with lush green lawn, palm trees and fruit trees (pick your own lemons, limes and oranges, perfect for making your own Sangria). The backyard also boasts a large patio including a covered area with roll down shades and some very comfortable wicker outdoor furniture for relaxing and reading a book or watching the hummingbirds. There is also a wrought iron and glass outdoor dining table to enjoy eating outside and a deluxe BBQ and lounges. There are two patio doors from the family room and the master bedroom which provide pool/garden views and easy access to the backyard.
The kitchen is very functional and fully equipped with all the necessary conveniences to entertain including an eating area, bar area and island. The kitchen has granite countertops and significant cupboard space, along with deluxe applicances, including a large fridge with ice/water maker, gas stove with 2 ovens, dishwasher and microwave. The family room has very comfortable furniture facing a gas fireplace with its designer glass and ice on fire look. You can read, watch the 47 inch HDTV with a home theatre system and Blu Ray player, or listen to music. There is a separate living room which overlooks the pool for entertaining, reading and playing games, along with a dining area. The master bedroom has a Cal King bed with high thread count bedding, walk-in closet and full ensuite with double sinks. You can stay in bed in the morning and look out over the pool and watch the palm trees sway in the breeze, or watch the 32 inch HDTV with Blu Ray. The other 3 bedrooms are all generous in size and have queen size beds with themed decor. These 3 bedrooms all have dressers and mirrors and are adjacent to bathrooms for convenience.
The home is air conditioned and has a furnace for your comfort, along with ceilings fans in all the bedrooms and the family room. There is a new high capacity washer and dryer. We offer WiFi and free long distance calling to anywhere in the US and Canada.
Our home is located in the centre of La Quinta in a smaller gated community. It is very close to all amenities including numerous golf courses, shopping from Big Box retailers to one of a kind stores, restaurants and hiking in the mountains. The town of La Quinta is known for art and the charm of Old Town. Within a block we have both the La Quinta Park and the Indian Springs Golf Course. The park provides playing fields and a children's playground and the golf course provides excellent value and is a very good "player friendly" course. We will consider pets but only on approval first.

About the owner: Stuart and Wendy have always enjoyed travel, especially to the sun during those long wet winters in Vancouver. We have both resided in the Vancouver area for our entire lives.
Why the Owner Chose Other La Quinta Properties:
We love the area with its 350 days of sunshine, warmth, beautiful mountains to look at and it has easy access from Vancouver/Bellingham. We plan on spending a good part of the winters in La Quinta after I retire in many years.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
It is very relaxing to sit out by the pool in the sunshine and enjoy the tropical landscaping and the birds. There are great restaurants in the area along with too many golf courses to mention.
