The perfect location! Steps to Atlantic Avenue and all the shops, art galleries, great restaurants and people watching you could ask for. But also a five minute walk to the intercoastal and the beautiful Delray Beach. There is no need for a car as you could not possible see everything in a week, just walk everywhere. The cottage is adorable, clean and plenty of room for 4 people. I have stayed all over florida but Delray Beach is where it is happening. Young and old are together and everyone is doing their own thing. People are very friendly and kind. They know what they have in this beautiful vacation paradise.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.

My sister in Florida suggested renting this property for our trip down south for the holidays in 2010. And I must say, she couldn't have recommended a better place. Sometimes you are unsure what to get when you are looking to rent a house for several weeks, but this place was very accurate in how it was described. It is in a great location (right in the heart of downtown Delray) but doesn't have the noise of staying in a hotel right on "The Avenue." The weather was crisp when we were there, so it was nice to be able to use the porch in the back. It is an older house, but everything is very up to date. Sure, the bathroom is on the smaller side, but hey, it's vacation! This house was clean, the perfect size, and exactly what we needed for our winter vacation. Oh! and don't miss the "Old School Square Bakery," it's right around the corner from the house, but they make some great sandwiches that we would enjoy at the beach or out back!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
