Island Palms. Highly recommended. Extremely clean home, beautiful decorating that you just do not see in rental homes. We have traveled throughout the Carribean to many fine hotels and found the comfort and convenience of this home to be great. Everything you could need is there. The home is close to everything but just secluded enough to be private and relaxing. Enjoyed coffee on the lanai each morning, looking at the water and watching the herons & egrets. Then a stroll or quick bike ride to the white powder beach, sparkling gulf and just a handful of people. We lunched in St. Armand's Circle, watched the sunsets at our newfound "haunts". Short drive north to the amazing "Bean Point" for a chilled bottle of wine and a picnic "dinner". Easy tee times at University Park, IMG and the Meadows, just a quick ride into Bradenton. Island Palms was our home base and whether we decided to sit and relax or go out for the day or nite, this was the perfect location to do that from. We would certainly recommend this for a great vacation.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

Outsatnding!!! Guest: Judith & Jim (Washington DC) We totally fell in love with Anna Maria Island and even more with the beautiful house we stayed at. This home was perfect inside and out. Everything was just perfect and nothing was missing to the most little detail, - Very tastefully furnished, fully equipped and all the privacy you can wish for!! We DEFINITELY recommend this beautiful home and cannot wait to go back...Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

We discovered Anna Maria Island 4 years ago after being nervous about Mexico and looking for a safe white sand beach alternative. We are happily hooked! We have been back evey year since. This year was our best yet as renting this home was awesome. EVERYTHING we needed was here. It truly was like being in our own home. It was spotless, fully equipped, tastefully appointed, private & quiet. Yet it was still a quick bike ride to the most beautiful beach or to fish off the pier at the Rod & Reel. (bikes and fishing gear were here!) We loved the pool and feeding the egrets on our dock. We eagerly look forward to our return to the Island Palms. I can almost feel the breeze.....We definitely recommend this home.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

THE BEST........Our 2 month stay was amazing and flew by before we even knew it. Views from the canal are peaceful and beautiful; neighbors are fun, friendly, and helpful; daily bird visits were so much fun. The house is beautiful, clean, and extremely well equipped with everything needed for a stay of one week to several months. We stay on AMI every year for the last 7 years and have yet to have such a well stocked home as this one was for our visit. We lived primarily on the lanai or outside the lanai on the beautiful paved deck - in the evenings, watching the stars - so gorgeous!! Trips to the beach were only minutes away by walking or biking. For a peaceful and fun vacation time, this home is truly the one you'll love the most!Recommended for: People with disabilities, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
