This will be your best vacation ever in our comfortable air-conditioned Kihei Kamaole Sands Condo that is just 200 yards from a beautiful white sand beach. We are directly across the street from gorgeous Kamaole Beach, one of Maui's finest beaches for swimming and snorkeling. Our Condo is in a super location in desirable South Kihei. Walk north just a minute or two and you will find shops, restaurants, groceries, snorkel rentals, ice cream and even shave ice! Best of all, our rates are very affordable.
Recently updated, our Condo offers you all the comforts of home. The bedroom features a queen-size bed along with 2 baths. A queen size hide-a-bed in the living room accommodates those additional guests. The condo is located on the second floor in a very quiet area off the garden but still very accessable to the pool. Washer & dryer in unit.
The private Lanai provides guests a quite place to enjoy a meal, to sit and watch the world go by or enjoy a good book.
Set among 15 acres of lush tropical gardens Kamaole Sands provides a quite place where you can stroll the gardens enjoying the streams, waterfalls and fountains. Our top class amenities allow you to enjoy tennis, swimming, and the hot tubs or just relax around the pool.
Kamaole Sands is directly across from Kamaole Beach III one of the most beautiful white sand beaches on the island of Maui. Centrally located in sunny Kihei, close to the Shops at Wailea and the world-renowned golf courses of Wailea and Makena Kamaole Sands is the ideal location for your vacation. Tourist activities can be booked at the desk centrally located in the lobby.
In Kihei, "beachfront" doesn't necessarily mean that conditions are suitable for swimming. But you'll find our beach to be an ideal swimming beach - no rocky shoreline or sharp coral bottom! It's also great for snorkeling and sunbathing... or refreshing walks along miles of sandy shoreline. We were just there in December and a four foot sting ray came up to up while snorkeling. People come from all over Maui to swim and snorkel at this beach... it is exceptional!

The kids returned this weekend from their Honeymoon and they absolutely had a fabulous time. The weather was gorgeous and your place was so nice. Thanks for making it easy for them. As you can imagine they are counting the days already until they can save enough money to go again. We were afraid that they would get

I enjoyed my week in Maui using
you condo. It's always difficult to return to reality. Especially on
short trips. One of these days I know I'll get a one way ticket. I left
a small beach chair in the kitchen closet. If it's still there when you
visit Maui, enjoy it. I plan to return in December or January. Perhaps

Having stayed at the Kamaole Sands for four consecutive years, I highly recommend it.
The condo is spacious and comfortable. Facilities include on-site gas grills, pool, spa and lush gardens. The beach is across the street and is an awesome beach to sunbathe or swim. At the beach park there are large trees in a grassy area that are great for picnicking or napping under.
The beach is not overly crowded and it is a local's hangout. It is a great bargain for everything an experienced traveler would need. If you want be away from tourists, this is the place to stay.

We had a great time at the Kamaole Sands Resort. The pool area looks like it was brand new, with plenty of room for the four of us to hang out and enjoy the weather. Big rooms for naps and then walk across the beach for an afternoon of sand castles and whale watching just before the sun goes down. B-B-Q dinner watch a movie on the DVD player and go to bed and do the whole thing over and over for seven days.

Our 1 bedroom condo was beautiful,having just been remodeled. The staff friendly, kids loved the pool, jacuzzis, and being able to stroll over to one of the best beaches on the island. It was quiet also. We looked at staying further north, but think Kamaole Sands is in a better location for beaches and snorkeling. Very nice. If we go back to Maui, we will definitely be trying to book a condo at the Kamaole Sands.

This unit was not up to the same standard as other units we had visited or rented at Kamaole Sands. There were areas that needed repair and a thorough cleaning ; and items that were dirty and/or rusty and should be replaced. During our stay we were also awakened every morning before the sun rose by people outside our bedroom either on their cell phone or talking amongst themselves. We were not certain if this is a common occurence due to the bedroom being close to the elevator or if this just happened during our stay. We did really apppreciate the staff on site as well as Trish , the owner's agent, who was really responsive .

The sofa bed proved to be too thin and lumpy to sleep on, so we had to rent a roll away cot (itself not entirely comfortable for an adult) for our daughter .. This condo should be advertised for two adults/one bed only ...until rectified. VERY disappointing. Also carpet tacks need to be covered by strip at junction of carpet/tile. Ouch! Otherwise the unit was nice, the outlook lovely, the Kamaole Sands complex beautifully kept and maintained. Amenities are top notch and perfect for families. We would definitely come back to Kamaole Sands, but wish there were some assurance that the suite is as advertised as there is nothing you can do about it once you arrive if it is not .
Owner response:UPDATE: 3/31/2011. NEW FOLD OUT SOFA HAS BEEN DELIVERED AND IS BEAUTIFUL!!! AND COMPHY! Travel Wholesaler was told by owner that a new sofa bed had been delivered prior to Moyra's stay and everything was in order, but was not because of delay in delivery. Everything is delivered now and fixed. TravelWholesaler.com is working with owner to offer compensation on the rollaway rental and offered Moyra an extremely discounted Mexico vacation for future trip but did not hear back from Moyra. So sorry about the problems, normally everything goes very smoothly and everyone has a lovely time.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car.
