Cute cottage in great location!
Cute cottage in great location!
We stayed here for an extended weekend and found the house to be just as advertised. It was clean, bright and well equipped with everything we needed. The house is within walking distance to everything you need in Greenport and very close to the ferry to Shelter Island. We had a great time visiting the wineries, local farms and beaches, not to mention the great restaurants in Greenport.

Year Purchased: 2010
About the owner: We have been buying and renovating properties for the past twelve years. Greenport was our first home together, and we have loved it ever since.
Why the Owner Chose Greenport:
We bought our first house in Greenport in 1999. We loved the village back then, and it has just gotten better every year! Our children love the beaches, parks, carousel, and library - there is always something to do. We renovated this house to be a home for my parents when they visit. But it's too great not to share...
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage:
Second Street is a perfect location - right in the middle of town, yet quiet with very little traffic. You can literally walk to everything from this house. It's around the corner from the library, which is great for rainy days. The grocery store and farmer's market are just a couple of blocks away! There are fantastic restaurants and wine bars, shops and attractions. Be sure to check out the Greenport electric launch, Glory - the only solar-powered tour boat in New York!
