Villas de Oro 106 is a large (2200sq.ft.) 3bedroom, 2bath upstairs unit located in the master planned resort of Palmillia. As you enter the Palmillia resort, the lush landscaping, 24 hr. maned security gate and low density two story white buildings all add to a sence of peace and serenity. The open floor plan of our unit takes full advantage of the views created by the mountains, golf course and pool area. The large wraparound deck with a new stainless steel gas BBQ, glass dinning table and lounge chairs is perfect for outside entertaining while watching the beautiful Baja sunsets. Our kitchen features new stainless steel GE appliances including a dishwasher, double sinks, microwave, glass top stove and oven, and a double door refrigerator/freezer with ice maker. The dinning table seats 6 with additional seating available at the breakfast bar. The living room has a big screen TV hooked up to a satalite system that receives US network stations from New York and San Francisco.
The master bedroom features a King size four poster bed with pillow top mattres, a walk in closet and a second big screen TV. The master bath has double sinks, a large tub and seperate walk in shower. The back guest bedroom features a King size bed and direct access to the guest bath. The front guest bedroom has two twin beds that are perfect for the kids. The Villa has zoned central heat and air conditioning and a full size wash and dryer in the laundry room. All sheets, towls and cooking needs are provided. The Villa is a short 3-5 minute walk to shopping, golf , dinning and tennis. The Sea of Cortez and the Palmillia beaches are just a 10 minute walk from your front door. A 5-10 minute drive takes you to downtown San Jose del Cabo with all its great shopping, dinning, art and cultural experiences. A 20 minute drive in the opposite direction (west) takes you past Costco to Cabo San Lucas. It's all here waiting for you in Los Cabos, but the best part, for me anyway, is just sitting on the patio at night with a cold Pacifico, enjoying the absolute peace and quite while looking up at a million stars shinning in the nite sky. This villa surpassed our expectations. The lovely photos simply didn't do this place justice. It was luxuriously appointed with everything we could desire, the beds and sheets were comfortable, and it was decorated beautifully. The golf course views were serene and peaceful, the swimming pool always had lounge chairs, the swimming beach down the hill was clean, lovely and populated by pelicans begging fish off the boats. The gate guards were friendly and the tennis club courts next door were sweet! We look forward to coming back here. They had great TV's, wifi, etc.. but we didn't even turn them on. There was too much fun to be had.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: Terri and I have been married for 31 years and live in Chico, California. Terri is an educator and I own and manage rental property around Chico State University. We first purchased property in Baja on our honeymoom in Cabo San Lucas in 1981. We enjoyed the early days of Cabo and greatly enjoyed watching our children grow up in the pool and on the beaches of Baja. Now, many years after selling our place in Cabo, we have come back to Baja and the beautiful Palmillia resort. We trailed a 24 foot Shamrock sport fisher down the Baja last summer and hope to spend as much time as possible enjoying San Jose and all that Los Cabos has to offer.
Why the Owner Chose Palmilla:
No longer being 21 and on spring break, we were looking for a place that combined great fishing, fine dinning, shopping and cultural activities with a little peace and quite. Palmillia and the city of San Jose de Cabo has all of these attributes. The new Puerto Los Cabos is a world class marina and only 25 minutes from the Gordo Banks. We have discovered wonderful restaurants in San Jose and the art walk on Thursday nites is always fun. Every Friday there is a farmers market 2 minutes from our front door at the Shops at Palmillia parking lot. We have only scratched the surface of all the fun and exciting things to do in the Los Cabos area. We can't wait to see what adventures lie ahead!
