We had a fantastic time staying at Nolita Place. This condo was perfect for us (we travelled with another couple). The place is spacious and clean, perfect for our needs and in a great location in SoHo. We walked quite a bit around the neighborhood, there are great boutiques for shopping, fantastic restaurants from diners to elegant dining. We enjoyed our stay! Gives you an accurate feel for what it's like to live in NY.

The location is awesome and the apartment is a delight. Right in the middle of Soho, Little Italy, Chinatown, Lower East Side and the East Village, with multiple subway options for venturing further afield (not that there is much need to). Everything was easy, from making arrangements with the owner to dealing with the doorman. Apartment has all the amenities and appliances you might need, from good showers to a well-stocked kitchen to fast internet. The street noise can get loud - especially Friday and Saturday nights. But it is NYC, after all.

    Owner response: Thanks!

Our week in New York was wonderful, these accommodations met our expectations. Very clean nicely furnished and roomy for the 4 of us. Lots of excellent restaurants within walking distance, great view of the new World Trade Center. Subway just down the street.

We stayed in this lovely unit the weekend directly following hurricane sandy. we had reservations correlating with the marathon and followed thru on coming to NY as at the time we flew friday morning the marathon had not yet been cancelled. We knew when we were preparing to go that power to this part of Manhattan was still out and tho there was hope for a return of power on friday there was no guarantee. I emailed the owner to discuss the state of the unit and the neighborhood and she called me on my cell phone to update me and give me what information she had. In this situation we had many questions throughout the day and she and i texted back and forth several times which was incredibly helpful. We arrived at the unit and the men at the desk were very helpful and kind, walking us up 9 flights of stairs with a flashlight to the unit (there is an elevator when there's power so no worries there). The unit was bright and full of sunshine, clean and lovely. We so wanted to stay and try to make the best of it and hope power would return that night but the bigger issue was no water (as i assume there are pumps to bring water all the way up to the 9th floor that were not working w/o power). As much as we wanted to be there we decided to decamp over to Brooklyn to stay with family until power came back on. Luckily it was restored by early evening Friday and we happily returned to a very quiet lower east side and to the lovely apartment. we made the best of a very strange weekend in new york and truly enjoyed the time we spent very comfortably in this unit. There is a Whole Foods very nearby so we could get any groceries we wanted, (once they restocked after the hurricane depletion of the last several days). The neighborhood is still evolving there on Bowery but we have staying in this area almost exclusively for the last 3 years and find it safe and full of conveniences. Great access to wonderful restaurants and good shopping, near the subway and from here we can easily walk to Soho, Tribeca, Greenwich village and even happily walk home from dinner in the West Village. The views are really great NY neighborhood views and you are high enough to see wonderful architecture on surrounding buildings and for a good distance. The unit had everything we needed and the doormen are very helpful and friendly. The owner was very responsive all weekend and full of suggestions and helpful thoughts. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who enjoys downtown Manhattan.

Our family of 4 (our 2 children, 5months and 4 years and my wife) stayed for 10 days. The location is fantastic next to Soho, a great Whole Food for grocery shopping 2 blocks from the building, several subway lines close by. The owners were very helpful and provided us with lots of information before we arrived and were very helpful as we were still in the building during Sandy. Would definitely come back.

Thank you so much to Claudia & Paul for a fabulous week in their great condo. The photos do not do justice to this spacious, comfortable home away from home but do show the stunning views. Everything is within walking distance, great restaurants (Balthazar & Barmarche Restaurants an absolute must),fantastic shopping in Broadway(suggested by Tour Bus as best discounted shopping in NY),Whole Foods Market for amazing fresh food & groceries, subway, bus and of course the helpful Concierge (booked us a car to the airport for $35,normal cab fare is $52!) Laundry and gym downstairs but we didn't get time to use gym! Do not be put off by first appearance of neighbourhood as this new condo is surrounded by older buildings but as I said is in the heart of everything. We had the use of the spacious main bedroom with the queenbed, comfy couches (great for a quiet read of some really good books there),desk, good size bathroom, amazing photo gallery(more in entrance) and great walk in robe. Our friends had the smaller guestroom with the most comfortable kingbed they had slept in since on their worldtrip with the amazing views shown in the photos. Thank you Claudia & Paul for all your suggestions, quick replies to my emails and making our booking such an easy one from beginning to end.We look forward to coming back as the only complaint I have is that one week was not enough time! Cheers from the Aussies!

Spacious apartment in a great location. Very friendly doormen. Recent trip was outstanding and everything went smoothley. Many restaurants close by, near Whole Foods, easy walk to subways, very close to the heart of Soho, Chinatown and an easy walk to Gramercy. Highly recommended.

I'm so glad we found this two-bed, two-bath condo in this great area between the East and West Village. Easy walking to subway to catch a broadway show or go to museums. Great shopping within walking distance - and good food in the neighborhood. The doorman, Kori couldn't have been more helpful or cheerful. The rooftop deck is also wonderful, as you can get outside, but be above the street in a private area. Highly recommend this place. Dont' stay in a hotel, but live like a New Yorker!

I absolutely loved staying here! This was my first time renting a condo in NYC instead of staying at a hotel and it was definitely the best choice, and I will do it again. The condo is located in the most convenient location, close walking distance to awesome restaurants, shops, salons, ect. The condo is really spacious. I stayed with 3 other people and we all had more than enough room. The beds are super comfortable, I slept like a baby every night. The living room is large and comfortable, nice to watch TV and relax after a long day of walking around New York. I absolutely loved staying here and I would gladly stay again.

Our stay at Nolita Place Condominium was a memorable one. We immediately felt like at home. So much better than staying at a hotel! The listing photos totally reflect what you'll find in the apartment and the views are indeed gorgeous. Friendly building staff and very responsive owner. Superb location to explore SOHO and lower Manhattan. Highly recommended.

Our complete experience in renting this condo was great! The owners always responded immediately with any inquires or comments we had. The description and photos on line were true to what we rented. The place was very clean and comfortable for 4 girls on the loose in NYC! All we needed was definately provided in the condo including linens, cooking utensils, friendly doorman, etc. The location of the condo was excellent and within walking distance to so many great areas. Our first experience with VRBO and specifically this condo was amazing and we would certainly recommend it to anyone! We'll be back!

Excellent apartment with hugh amounts of space and amentities. The beds are excellent, the two bathrooms help to avoid conflicts and the master bedroom allows for peace and quietThe view at night is spectacular, exactly as shown in the posting. If you are into boutique shopping like my daughter and wife this area is perfect. If you are a foodie there seems to be endless choices. Try Public on Elizabeth, one of the best meals I've ever had! Very eclectic. Apizz was also excellent. Overall, we had a great time. Many thanks to Paul for the opportunity to enjoy.

We were very happy with our experience at this condo. It is a great deal compared to hotel rooms. It is much larger and cheaper for 4 people. The condo is clean, in a good location and actually kind of fancy. We made the error of mentioning to the doorman that we wanted to use the gym and he said that guests weren't allowed (insurance). I should have just read the owner's directions and we would have been fine. But we didn't have time to use the gym anyway because we were too busy having fun. I would definitely recommend this to any of my family and friends and will definitely inquire the next time we are in town. Please note that a deposit is required. It was not a problem, but I didn't see it in the original description and I've never had to pay a deposit on the other 5 VRBO places I've rented. But, the deposit was returned immediately, so that was excellent. If I were to rent out my place, I'd definitely require a deposit, too. All in all, it was very great and thank you very much.

My 20-something daughter, husband and I had a perfect Thanksgiving weekend, based in this apartment. We stayed Wednesday through Saturday nights and thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and the neighborhood. The apartment was spacious and well-appointed. My daughter had plenty of privacy in the second bedroom with its own bath. My son joined us for Thanksgiving dinner, all food prepared by Whole Foods only a couple of blocks away, but we were able to heat everything and serve it easily in the apartment. This experience was so superior to staying in a hotel. Our family was able to gather in the living room and watch a movie after our Thanksgiving dinner (owner Paul has a large supply of dvd's). Paul was very helpful with nearby restaurant recommendations for our other evenings in the city. We walked through Soho several times on Friday and Saturday, shopping, eating, getting exercise -- everything was so accessible. We also walked down and crossed the Brooklyn Bridge, probably only 15 minutes away. We had spent time in Soho before, but further explored the Lower East Side and the Financial District -- will definitely return and hope to stay at this apartment again!

We enjoyed our stay at this lovely apartment in lower manhatten. The owner was very helpful with places to go and things to do. His communication with us was fast and effecient. We had seen all the major attractions in NYC and wanted to experience something a little different. This location allowed us to stay within 3-4 blocks and get everything we wanted. The subway is very close if you need it and the area got pretty quite after midnight for some much needed sleep. This place allows you to stay close, or get anywhere on the subway which is just a couple blocks away. The staff and the apartment was very friendly and the place was very secure. There is also a gym and laundry room downstairs if you need it. Thanks to Paul and his professionalism, we had a great stay.
