Midnight Cove condo description
Beautiful views, powder fine sand, perfect location and sunshine! All this on Siesta Key beach, picked #1 beach in the United States in 2012 and one of National Geographics top 10 beaches in the world!
Our second floor walk-up unit has views out every window and is in an ideal location. On a windy day our unit is somewhat protected by the direction the building faces. The pool can be watched from our unit, too. Swim in the pool, lounge on a chair, walk a few steps to the sand beach on a walk surrounded by sea oats, cacti and palms to make our complex feel protected from the beach. Take a walk to Point of Rocks on the south and look for shells or just people watch. The beach 'monitor' will get you a chair or lounge chair and put up an umbrella for you (not many complexes have this service). Eat lunch by the pool at one of the umbrelled tables.
Sometimes you hear a trumpet sound at sunset. Other times you hear a group of men singing 'God Bless America' while the sun goes down. Then go out back and grill your burgers...eat out there or in our condo.
We have recently remodeled the big room and added new furniture plus a new 46' HDTV. Our phone has free long distance stateside. We have wifi for you computer users. There is another TV in the master bedroom which has a new King sized bed with comfy new mattress. The other bedroom has two twin beds and a big window looking out toward the beach. There are two full baths, one near each bedroom.

Siesta Key is our favorite place to vacation. This condo unit is perfect for a weeks stay. It is equipped with everything you'll need for your vacation and is a very short walk to the beach and pool. There is something for everyone here: swimming, walking on the beach, fishing, boating, riding bikes, snorkeling, kayaking and shelling. We have been blessed to come here and stay many years now and will continue to do so in the future.

About the owner: Joe and I bought this condo while visiting Midnight Cove with 4 teenage girls and it was raining. What do you do to get out of their hair? Find a realtor to show you property! That was it...with orange shag carpet and olive green accents everywhere. Joe is an attorney, still practicing in our mid-sized Indiana town where we have lived for 46 years. I taught school for 20+ years and began renting the unit myself when I retired. Recently we have enjoyed being at Siesta Key with our grown children, their spouses, and our 12 grandchildren! Of course, we have to rent several other units and that is how we know we have a very special place!!!
Why the Owner Chose Midnight Cove:
We were a family who went skiing in Colorado, etc. every spring break. As a teaching mother I got tired of being cold and made a reservation at Midnight Cove for Spring Break 1977. At supper, I said, 'You can vote on where to go for Spring Break but you will loose $100 if we don't go to Siesta Key.' Well, we continued to snow ski some, but just fell in love with this place and this beach!

We just love listening to the surf, especially in the evening and night time. We can hear it well with our window and sliders open. We like the friendliness of our neighbors and visitors to the complex. We like eating at Javiers down the street. We like watching the birds and gators while playing golf at our favorite courses. We love going to St. Armands to listen to jazz and shop. We like going to the downtown market on Sat morning. We like worshiping at a special church, Church of the Palms. We like eating great grooper. Relaxating while doing all of this!
