  We enjoyed a girlfriends weekend at this beautifully decorated home. The amazing view of the frozen river and winter trees was incredibly serene. The house was so welcoming; we were quite content to stay indoors. The kitchen was very “user friendly” and a spacious center for our activities. The hospitality was outstanding and will draw me back again for sure. With gratitude for an amazing weekend at this beautiful place…..

  Dear sue, I have to admit when my girlfriends said they heard about a great place in clarion for girl's weekend I wasn't very thrilled. So glad I called you and we talked. I began to feel better about our weekend when you said " our river house is just a special place". You are right. From the minute we turned into the private lane it was magical. The house is fabulous, but most impressive is that around every corner you seemed to have things that welcomed us. Can't wait to come back again and again. Vicko

  Went out for a family vacation and had a great time. The kids loved being so close to the river, and hiking the trail in the bakyard. The house was very clean, spacious and cozy. Thank you Sue for making the sticky buns, they were a great treat. Also the kids enjoyed making smores in the fire pit outside. I can't wait to get back out and visit.

  This was an anniversary weekend for us and our first time to the Clarion River / Cooks Forest / Franklin areas. The area has so much to offer. This cottage has everything that you would need to cook/host/pamper/relax/and venture out on the water. The home is secluded although we were a bit skittish about leaving doors/windows open due to passers by - The home is very appealing and bright. If you are not an early riser you may want to bring an eye mask as the sky lights over master bed brought bright sunlight at an early hour. I loved our stay - we just needed to move to darker rooms to sleep. Otherwise, would recommend this property for a quick get away.

  The Sagamore was a great weekend getaway with the girls. With our busy life the Sagamore soon made us forget about all the life's hustle and bustle. One could not ask for a better host. Sue had a great bottle of wine and delicious chocolates awaiting us. The house is so elegantly decorated with such a warm touch. The beautiful view of the river makes anyone forget about life's daily burdems. This is a great place for a romanic weekend or a girls getaway. Located not far from the Foxburg and Shippenville wineries. A must see!!! I can't wait for the return this summer. I have to mention the hiking trails are filled with birds , beautiful wildflowers and maybe even a bear!!!

  Quiet. Peaceful. Beautiful. Sitting on the porch, chatting and watching the kids play by the river was wonderful. The view from the master bedroom is amazing. Very clean, comfortable and inviting. Plenty to do in the area. All in all a great weekend. Thanks.

  Rick & Sue, thank you very much for the warm hospitality and your gracious offer to stay at the Sagamore River House this past weekend. What a beautiful and relaxing way to unwind after a very hectic week of traveling and the spectacular view of the river was incredible. On Sunday morning, the fog was rising off the water in soft silent waves that gave the entire landscape a quiet, serene and magnificent glory. We just didn't want to leave. Thank you, again.
