The views, the weather, the National Forest - are you roughing it to experience these things - NO WAY - you are coming back to a luxurious 3-bedroom and a loft townhome, with cable, wifi, a fully equipped kitchen, and a fully covered access via an enormous two-car garage, with lots of room to store sports gear.
There is a large balcony to savor the views from.There are vaulted planked ceilings, a large dining table for the whole family, a cozy gas fireplace for a chilly night, and a large weber charcoal grill for warm spring and summer nights. You have a washer/dryer, and a recreation center - with an indoor pool, jacuzzi, raquetball courts, gym and a pool table - to workout for that skiing, hiking, and golfing. There is a hot-air balloon ride nearby in the summer, which floats right over the home, and you can see the weather coming over the San Juans (I saw my first double rainbow off the balcony last summer!!). The sunsets are - naturally - magnificent. There is shopping and dining within walking distance.
Wolf Creek Ski Area is twenty minutes away. Pagosa Springs Golf Club is three minutes away. The rec center is within walking distance. There is a small airfield within five minutes. The Hot Springs are ten minutes away, as is the center of town with lots of shopping and dining, a movie theater and repretory theater. There is even a disc golf course!
The San Juan National Forest with all of its stellar recreational opportunities is five minutes up the road. The huge Navajo State Park is thirty minutes away, and the Sky Ute Casino is ten minutes further. Of couse Durango, and the Durango and Silverton Railway and the Million Dollar Highway. Closer than that is the beautiful Lake Vallecito.
There are three comfortable bedrooms for when you've been out all day, either cooked or dined out, enjoyed the sunset with your cocktail on the balcony, and are ready for downtime.
