We are so thankful to the owner for offering this impecable home as a vacation rental. This house is incredibly beautiful. Our 7 year old daughter was so excited when she entered the great room and saw the view she actually jumped up and down with glee. The view is awe inspiring. Great location too. Seal rock state park is close enough to walk to and the cove below is easy to get to and explore as well. The owner is exceedingly generous to allow dogs as well. Our rat terrier loved the house too. He found a sunny spot on the stairs and spent alot of time lounging there. My husband and I enjoy cooking and the kitchen had everything we needed to make wonderful meals to enjoy at the large dining table. This house is worth every penny charged. We will definately be back. Our many thanks go to the owner for all the hospitality this home offered.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers.

Impeccable Home & Incomparable Views!

This home exceeded our expectations! The home is brand new, and has all of the comforts of home. The picture windows overlook the ocean below, and the deck is accessible off the great room and master to bask in the sun (and yes, it was 60 degrees and sunny in February for our visit!). The home is great for all types of weather visits! The beds are new and comfortable, the master bedroom has a rock fireplace and t.v. that swivels...it was perfect for enjoying the deck in the evening and watching the game on the t.v. at the same time! The large round dining room was great for family style dinner, and the kitchen had nice appliances and was equipped with everything needed (all the dishes and cooking ware as well as a new coffee maker). The separation of space is perfect for couples or families. The entry level has 2 bedrooms with a spacious bathroom, and it also has a large bonus room with a sectional and t.v. It also has a patio with a picnic table...this is perfect for letting the kids hang out while the adults have their space upstairs (we didn't bring the kids but will in the future!) The great room, master bedroom, kitchen and a half bath is upstairs....which is the ideal format for enjoying the views. Cable T.V. and a IPOD/CD player is there for your entertainment...and quite a CD collection of vintage discs. The rocky beach below provides hours of opportunity to seek out sea creatures of many types...anenomes, starfish and other marine life are in the small tidepools below. It was a lot of fun walking the rocks. I tried long and hard to tell you about any negatives. The only thing that was a challenge was beach access, and the beach immediately below is not vast--mostly rock. But, if you wait for the tide to go out you can get to an adjacent beach without much effort.Getting down and back up to the beach below is the only tough part, but truth be told there may be a public access nearby that we didn't look for. We have stayed at tons of places at the coast and this by far exceeded every one that preceded it. We will most definitely come back again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: My professional background is in marketing and special events . I am professionally responsible for ensuring that client and guest events are conducted with the highest level of detail and that every need is attended to . I extend this experience and care to all that will visit and stay at the Cove at Seal Rock. I had waited for 5 years for this location to become available because there is no other property like it with these prestine views. I took the journey to build this 18 months ago and has proved to be a labor of love .
Why the Owner Chose Seal Rock:
Unquestionably the property was purchased for the views and location.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
The enjoyment you will experience while staying at the Cove extends from the luxurious accomodations and wanting for nothing inside . But, more importantly, every room faces the ocean and your breath is literally taken away as you watch nature constantly unfolding around you. The inside comforts will hopefully become second to you in comparison as you witness the beauty outside all around you.
The family room also has large sectional new couches for larger family viewings of mounted TV - or sleeping area.
