My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay in Green Valley Lake. The A-frame cabin was perfect for us. It is located a short walk from the enchanting lake & friendly village. We had a lovely extended weekend, hiking, bicycling and relaxing on the beautiful cabin deck and breathing in the fresh mountain air! Thank you so much for allowing us to enjoy your families A-frame cabin. It is well appointed and met all our needs. We expect it would be perfect for a family as well although, we enjoyed it as a romantic get-away for the two of us and we'll definitely be back!! Thanks again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Lovely cabin, very well kept. The kitchen was well stocked, with all the pans, utensils, foil, and cleaning supplies we needed. The oven runs a little hot, and tends to burn the bottom of food -- we found that it worked best to set it to 50 degrees less than the package called for, check food early, and to broil for a couple of minutes at the end. The mattresses, pillows, linens, and towels are all new and very good quality. We had enough hot water for 3 showers in a row, and the downstairs stayed very warm. The upstairs does not have its own heaters, and is warmed by air rising from downstairs through the staircase opening, resulting in about a 10 degree temperature drop when you go upstairs. Luckily the beds do have warm blankets. The family who owns and manages the cabin were very helpful and good to work with. Overall I'd definitely recommend this cabin.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.
