Enchanted place for a family retreat

We stayed at the main house over spring break, with our four kids (aged 10 to 4) and live-in nanny, and everybody absolutely loved the stay. The location is perfect - just outside Santa Fe, close enough to quickly head to town to browse the galleries, book stores or get a cup of coffee, and within easy striking distance to all the things to see and do in and around town. The house is enchanted and a true gem, and Kirsten and Gary obviously spent a lot of time and effort decorating it in local style. We were a big group, yet the house and property has plenty of little corners, decks, porches for reading, playing or retreating from the chaos of a large family. The kids loved the outdoor jaccuzzi and "hunting" on the 5 acre property. On the way back, it was decided by unanimous consent to come back for next spring break and make this a family spring tradition.

We stayed at the casa for spring break 2012, driving from Texas. What a beautiful surprise when we drove up to the house. For the price, this exceeded our expectations by a mile. We had 4 adults and 4 teenage boys and it just felt like home, but with million dollar views. There was snow our first day there, and then it was sunny and 65 degrees after that. We would definitely stay there again, and the owners were a pleasure to work with. Highly recommended!
