  Forecast was gloom and doom, but thank goodness Mother Nature didn't listen. We had sun all 3 days. It was beautiful!! Our son Luke caught his first fish! It was a pretty goodsize Walleye. Not bad for a 4 yr old!! We went on the boat, even baby Emily! The boat ride didn't last long but it was still fun. Emily took her first few independent steps here. Luke had such a great time that he wants us to buy the cabin. He's such a funny kid!

  This is our second time here. We boated, tubed, skied every day. My son Parker (7) got up on ski's for the first time in his life! (The lake was pristine for skiing.) We need to find the fishing spot. Parker thanks you for passing a Rite of Passage (skiing!) We can't wait to come back next year. We really appreciate your hospitality. We hope to make this a yearly tradition.

  Skiing at Big Powderhorn, snowmobile rides with Bob & his brother, sleeding at the island, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing on the lake,seeing the Eagle's nest and tons of stars. We had a great time! Super accommodations, great view, and comfy beds. Will be back this summer!

  The place is great. Loved the decorating,Moose are my favorite. All the comforts of home here. Bob & Marge took us on a tour of the lake. They even took us to the boat lunch & guided us back to the house to bring our boat. ATV trails were for everyone. Some great dirt & pits for the boys to ride in. Went to Lake Superior, Spring Camp Falls & superior Falls to name a few. We had alot of fun!

  This place is the greatest!! We just LOVE it!!! Bob & Marge thanks for being such wonderful-generous hosts! Jay and I are already making plans for what we want to do next time We come up here! It was the best vaction i ever had! Thanks for the Jetski ride. Jason(Thanks for your help & concern with our sick cat at home!)

  The place is beautiful! Thanks Bob for checking on us during the snow storm, that was very thoughtful,since it was only the kids and I. You definitely have taken pride in your cabin and all the nice features. I hope that everyone that visits truly appreciates this place! I know we have. We will be back!
