About the owner: We are a semi retired professional couple from Eastern Canada with grown family so we still spend a lot of time there but enjoy spending November and April in Sarasota and occasional intervals in between. We only intend to rent out our condo for two month minimum periods and leave it for our renters as we would leave our own home.
Why the Owner Chose Palmer Ranch:
We have been coming to the Sarasota area for nearly twenty years on Siesta Key as renters but as we found ourselves golfing more often, considered renting in a golf community.
Initially, we were attracted by the outstanding Arthur Hills golf course (which we had played on occasion previously) and the location which is near beaches, shopping, restaurants and the cultural attractions of Sarasota.
When looking further we found that the locally famous Legacy Trail for biking, jogging and walking from Sarasota to Venice runs right alongside the property.
Once we moved here we were pleasantly surprised by the active, friendly community with numerous organized activities such as yoga plus the excellent formal and informal dining facilities.
We decided there and then to purchase rather than rent and have never regretted leaving the full time beach scene.

Gorgeous, serene view overlooking the lake and golf course has us spending many hours in our enclosed lanai, reading and enjoying the fresh, clear air.
