This house was recently upgraded with laminate floors and new furniture. It provides a perfect place to get away after a hectic day in the state capitol. This was a last minute decision to spend Thanksgiving Holiday with my son and his family in the Tallahassee area - We brought the whole family down and this property was really sweeter than a suite. We enjoyed the roominess, the convience of a home away from home. The property was well equipped with linen, cookware and every thing we needed. We prepared dinner - invited guests over and enjoyed the holiday as if I did it in my own home. I have recommended this property to all my friends that are planning a trip to Tallahassee. Thanks to the owners for there quick responses to all our questions and even the great directions. Hats off to you! See you on my next visit.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.

The listing is an accurate depiction of the house. It was relatively clean and well put together upon arrival. Clean linens were available which was a nice touch. The neighborhood was also nice. Very helpful owners. Quick response on any questions asked. The house is only a couple minutes from the city center. I would definitely recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

About the owner: My husband and I bought our first home after we began looking for off campus housing for our oldest daughter. We saw an endless number of apartments each nicer than the previous one. After an exhausting search we decided to purchase our own home to provide us with a place to stay while we were visiting. We welcomed the opportunity to have the space, cook our own meals and bar-b-que outdoors. After several years of renting to students and then just renting we discovered Vacation Rentals. We loved the idea! We still visit often as we can. Having our own home allows us to stay where we feel comfortable and safe, a primary concern for us. The creation of this lifestyle allows us to combine our love of travel with our love of real estate, it's the best of two worlds! We love the Tallahassee area and hope to relocate from Miami to the area after retirement but until that happens let us share our home with you!
