Remodeled charm of a 1920's original cottage adds to the peace and enjoyment of your stay. Air Conditioning and Heating recently added. Gabled ceilings, hardwood floors, as well as a garden patio and small yard add to the charm. Gas washer and dryer, security system, plus off street parking for two cars. Four houses to the bay and six to the ocean allows close proximity to high energy beach fun or tranquillity of bay enjoyment. Whichever you choose you will return home to the quiet life of court living.
FULLY stocked kitchen allows the cooking enthusiast to have fun as well as eliminating the high costs of restaurants. Items included are: basic spices, blender/Cuisinart, fondue set, hot and cold tea makers, cookie trays and racks, pizza tray, gas stove/range, 200 watt hand mixer, 9 inch cake pans, cupcake pans, full line of pots and pans, fully stocked cooking utensils, plus other small kitchen appliances. Fully stocked bed and bath linens plus seven beach towels, rattan beach mats, beach umbrella, children's beach toys, and sidewalk chalk. Front patio with two chairs plus small table for morning coffee or tea. Air conditioning and heating included.

Why the Owner Chose Mission Beach
Our son lives in San Diego and it is the perfect place to stay while visiting with him and his family. We looked at other cottages in Ocean Beach, Pacific Beach and La Jolla. The reason we chose Mission Beach is the cottage. We were sold when we saw the Gabled ceilings in the living room and master bedroom plus the cozy feeling one gets as soon as you walk in.
The Unique Benefits at this Cottage
There is so much to do within walking and driving distance. Night life is literally down the court and around the corner with restaurants, bars, theaters and shopping on Mission Blvd and Garnet Ave. The beach and bay are steps away where one can find water sports, beach fun or quiet time listening to waves and birds. Sea World, downtown, museums located in Balboa Park, Coronado Island, Cabrillo Road drive to Point Loma and the historic light house with tide pools are all 5-20 minutes away. Another attraction is Seal Beach in La Jolla, something you don't want to miss. In the winter you have the added attraction of snow fun in and around the town of Julian on highway 79 located in Cuyamaca Rancho State Park. Activities are limitless and apply to many diverse personalities and interests.

If you decide to rent our cottage, we hope you love it as much as we do! We enjoy taking our grandchildren and dogs with us as they have such a good time. The grandchildren love the beach/bay plus the roller coaster at Belmont Park. The dogs enjoy a romp at "Dog Beach" located in Ocean Beach. We love the ambiance and charm of our cottage plus the joy of having family around.

My husband and I welcome you to our classic 1920's beach cottage with gabled ceilings, wood floors and quaint peacefulness. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we enjoy vacationing at the cottage. We have strived to maintain the original 1920's ambiance while updating for convience and comfort including a stacked washer and dryer. I can't tell you how convienent it is. So great for those towels from the beach and children's clothes that get SO dirty! We enjoy court living as it gives a unique ambiance we don't experience at our primary residence. Our grandchildren love the beach and the upbeat atmosphere offered. We enjoy the beach but do enjoy coming back to the peacefulness of court living. Everyone gets what they want, beach atmosphere, bar and club scene on Garnet St., fine dining in elegant resorts and peaceful bay and court atmosphere.
