My husband and I enjoyed our get away with our 2 children at this adorable condo. The view was beautiful and the condo was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The kids loved the pool and the beach gear that Kathy had on hand too. We really enjoyed listening to the ocean at night, watching the sunrise in the morning, and the beautiful water and waves on the beach. Kathy is a great host, knowledgeable of the area and its resources, and made the whole rental process a breeze! We will definitely be back. Thanks again!

Great Anniversary Trip

My wife and I just spent a great long-weekend at Kathy's condo for our 5th wedding anniversary. We had a great visit. The pictures do not do the condo justice; it is even more updated in person. The location is perfect, and the views were as advertised. I especially enjoyed drinking my early morning coffee on the balcony while reading the news on our iPad connected to the condo wifi, listening to the waves crash the entire time. Kathy is an A+ renter. She was so cooperative and accommodating through the entire process. When a last second glitch threatened to derail our visit, she was even willing to work with us and help out on our reservation and dates (although it eventually worked out). We can't wait to plan a return visit with our two small children; the bunk beds will be perfect for them. Thanks again, Kathy. -Wade

Quiet and comfortable

This property was a pleasant place to stay with a kitchen that was easy to work in and had a lot of unexpected (yet appreciated!) kitchen tools. The emphasis is on comfort in this condominium, which made it easy to relax, which was just what we wanted to do. Fall is an excellent time to visit the beach because it's less crowded and the weather was perfect the weekend we were there. The owner was more than helpful in making everything work for our stay and in answering any questions we had -- and anticipating questions we might have. The complex is a smaller one, which was nice and meant no crowds on the beach or in the parking lot! And, it's across the street from Cottons, which is one of our favorite places to eat in Orange Beach. I've already recommended the property to a few friends and will do so again.

Forty first anniversary

My wife and I celebrated our 41st anniversary in ES 61 September 10 - 17. The condo was everything Kathy said it would be and more. We had a full moon on the night of our anniversary. The beach and weather were ideal.We used the beach chairs and umbrella every day. The condo is close to the water, so carrying them down is no problem. After walking the beach at daylight, we cooked breakfast and spent the rest of the day on the beach. The king size bed was as comfortable as any I have ever slept on. Kathy was very helpful with booking the condo and recommending good places to eat.We also enjoyed the Shrimp Basket and Mikees Seafood restaurants.Thanks, Kathy, for a great vacation. We hope we can do it every year.

Our Best Vacation Ever!

This was our first experience with renting a private condo instead of staying at a resort. We had such a pleasant experience, we wondered why we hadn't done this on our past vacations. The Emerald Skye condos were perfect for us. The resorts where we've stayed in past were crowded and noisey. Emerald Skye was laid back and relaxed. Our condo was just the right size, comfortable and clean with a colorful beach decor that added to the experience. We enjoyed a majical, panoramic view of the beach and ocean from our balcony. We sipped our coffee in the mornings and watched pods of Dolphins gently trolling down the beach front each morning. A large, lighted pier made for romantic views at night. Our condos were also located near the best restaurants in Orange Beach. Kathy, the owner of our condo, was extremely helpful by sending us a long list of local eateries which included reviews from previous tenants. We tried a different restaurant every night. All we'd recomend. Kathy allowed us to use her beach equipment which also helped us save money. Emerald Skye and the city of Orange Beach far exceeded our expectations.Kathy was wonderful as well. We will return.

We so enjoyed our stay in Kathy's very well equipped condo! The location couldn't have been more perfect....top floor, two directional beach views and just steps from the beach! It was just as Kathy described. By the way, you won't deal with a more accomodating and on-the-ball owner than Kathy! Thank you so much....we hope we can return someday!

My daughter and I just returned from a few days at Orange Beach and this condo. We enjoyed the colors of the condo, the lay out of the furnishing, and the QUIET atmoshpere. The balcony was especially nice at night while relaxing and listening to the waves. Hope to return soon. The owner goes above and beyond in sending directions and quickly answering all questions. Go to Lulu's and have a great time.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at E.S. 61. The condo was very clean, comfortable, and well-decorated. The view from the balcony is incredible. We had breakfast out there every morning. Thank you, Kathy, for all of your suggestions on restaurants. We tried several of them and they were all very good. We certainly got our fill of the tasty seafood that's offered. The use of the umbrellas and beach chairs was fantastic. We enjoyed spending hours on the beach each day reading. It was very therapeutic and relaxing. I highly recommend E.S. 61 and I look forward to going back.

My husband and I rented this awesome condo for our 10 year anniversary getaway - NO KIDS! It was PERFECT for us! All around us were crowded beaches and lots of noise, but on our little piece of the beach it was quiet and relaxing. Communication with Kathy was excellent! I feel certain that had we needed her during our stay, she was only a quick phone call or email away! She made the transaction smooth and easy and headache-free! I would definitely recommend renting THIS condo whether you are looking for a romantic getaway or a fun vacation with the kids!

Even Better than Expected

Although we thanked the owners, using the guestbook that was provided in the condo, I wanted to take this opportunity to leave additional feedback about what an awesome stay we had. My boyfriend and I traveled down from North Mississippi for a four night stay on the week of 6/6/11, and we enjoyed every minute of it. I must say that the pictures that the owners have posted do not do this condo justice. They not only keep it immaculate, but couch, beadspreads, and TV's have all been updated at some point. My boyfriend and I searched the internet for weeks, looking for a condo with a SPECTACULAR view, and I'm so pleased that we ended up with a balcony that truly exceeded our expectations. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our mornings and evenings on the out there!! Oh, and Kathy really went above and BEYOND with her helpful tips and recommendations for places to go and things to do. Our favorites of the trip would have to be The Gulf Shores Steamer, Pirate's Island Golf, and The Hangout. We will most definitely make the trip again, and hopefully this condo will available to welcome us back!

I rented this condo for a much needed vacation for my children and I. I have to say it was perfect! The view was fabulous! Because the condo sits right on the beach, it made carry chairs and supplies so easy for us. Also, the beach area was not crowded like they are at some of the other large condos; which makes for a more relaxing vacation. Aside from the beach, everything we wanted to do and see was close by. The condo itself was clean and neat; it felt like home! Kathy was so helpful with all the information she provided for me on places to eat and things to do! Very clean, very private, comfortable, and included everything we needed to enjor our stay. Great location, ON THE BEACH, and the renters where great with communication. They provided directions, dinner recommendations, and several helpful suggestions to make trip planning a breeze. Booking this condo was a snap, with my busy work schedule and lmited availability to talk on the phone, a renters provided everything I needed to book using email from my smartphone. We're definately booking this again....SOON!

Spring Break 2011 March 20 - March 25

The room and view were wonderful. Everything was clean and well kept up. We really enjoyed ourselves. The walks on the beach in the morning and evening were great. The weather was sunny everyday and in the upper 70's to lower 80's. The units are very close to shopping and resturants. The beaches were well kept up up. They were busy but not overcrowded. We met several people on the beach while walking and everyone was very friendly. We are looking forward to returning again next year. We worked through the internet to make arrangement with Kathy. She was very helpful and very organized. All the information we needed such as parking passes and key codes and lists of resturants were all included in her emails and made our stay both fun and easy.

Recommended for:Age 55+, tourists without a car.

My family rented this unit for 3 nights in March 2011. We loved staying there. It was on the top floor with wonderful views. It was very clean and well maintained. They provided chairs and an umbrella for us to use on the beach. It was close to everything. Great places to eat and close to fun activities that we took our 5 year old to. The pool was very clean as well. It was very quiet and peaceful. I cannot wait to go back!! I highly reccomend this condo for a couple or a family. My son loved the bunk beds!

We have stayed in many different condos from Orange Beach to Myrtle Beach and ES 61 is definately our favorite. Very comfortable, good value and well equipped. The owners are great to rent from and we will be returning for years to come. The view from the top floor is unmatched! THe location iks very convenient to stores, restaurants and attractions. Highly recommended.

we had the great fortune to stay at ES61 the week of July 6-13, 2008. Let me tell you, its not to be missed. The condo is delightfully furnished- directly beachfront. the chairs that kathy lets you borrow along with the umbrella will save you a $25 daily rental fee from the beach services. we didn't lack for any amenities- both my young boys (ages 6 & 3) were delighted to have 'big boy bunk beds' to sleep in. the best part of this condo is the heavenly bed located in the bedroom. its nothing short of miraculous- while i'm prone to insomnia- i slept like a baby in that delightful bed- the bed itself along with the linens made a very comfortable haven each and every night. kathy was over the top on responsiveness and kindness with regards to emails and information. you simply cannot afford to pass up the opportunity to stay in ES61. its our new home away from home when we visit orange beach...

Hey...we just got back from our vacation at Emerald Skye #61. It was absolutely fabulous! The condo was spic and span and BEAUTIFUL!!! My mother just couldn't quit commenting on how clean it was. The views were amazing! Kathy made everything really easy for us too.. We loved the big king size bed..it was so comfortable. All the decor was just beautiful. We also enjoyed the pool and the ocean was great! I will never forget the look on my little boy's face as he was riding the waves! It was priceless!!! I would love to go back and stay longer! i would like to stay at least a week sometime! hopefully sometime really soon! Everything was great, Kathy and thanks so much for everything!!!

Well, it's official! Your condo is our home away from home. We've just had our second trip in 3 months to your wonderful condo. We love the views, the location, and the comfort (of course the owners aren't too bad either). Kathy and Keith are terrific owners that go above and beyond to ensure their renters have a wonderful stress free stay. For instance, they even brought in a larger TV just in time to watch the Alabama game....ok, so they were replacing the original TV, but we like to think they did it just for us! They did provided for us (and anyone with a small child)a safty guard for the balcony railing....we have a two year old that likes to make her mama nervous by looking through the bars. September 8-15, 2006: What a great place to stay and enjoy the Emerald Coast. The view was outstanding and having a corner unit is definitely a plus. Access to the beach is quick and the beach chairs and umbrella in the storage room sure came in handy and saved us from having to bring or buy our own. The decor is colorful but not overpowering. It's just right for a beach setting. Only a twenty minute drive to NAS Pensacola to see the Naval Aviation Museum and a quick trip to the outlet mall off the Foley Beach Express on those rainy days. Dining was close. Zeke's Landing and Louisiana Lagniappe (just a minute or two away) were excellent. Emerald Skye #61 will definitely be our choice for our next visit to the coast.

Kathy and Keith, June 19-26 We loved every minute of staying in the condo. You have such a beautiful place. Greg and I took 4 kids (our girls, neice, and nephew) and there was plenty of room. After a full day at the beach we would go up and relax on the balcony enjoying the view and watching the dolphins. At dark we would go to the pool which was also wonderful. May 3-8, 2006 We had a great 5 nights in this well-equipped, Caribbean decor unit. The corner views are wonderful! Not only was the furniture attractive but it also was very comfortable including the nice king size bed. Even nice thick bath towels! 3/15/ through 3/31/06 We had such a wonderful, relaxing stay; the weather was great, the condo was superb and the view was unbelieveable. I really loved this condo! The views from inside were spectacular since this was a corner unit. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable bed (not a cheap, worn mattress. And Kathy is super. Will definitely try to stay here again.

Tastefully and comfortably furnished condo with a lot of useful amenities. Very rental friendly! Beautiful view of the wide beach. Heated pool nice for cool days. Just a nice, friendly complex that makes for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation.

Jenny and Fred are very fun-loving people. I've enjoyed getting to know these people through e-mails and phone conversations. I'm so glad they had a great time staying in our tropical condo and for their understanding and patience with the trials and tribulations of Hurricane Ivan repairs.

We enjoyed this condo so very much. The decor was so tropical and welcoming, every thing we could possibly need was provided...including beach chairs and umbrella! The views were spectacular and the location was perfect! Kathy and Keith are wonderful to rent from and made us feel so very welcome....THANKS a million!

OUR STAY IN THE CONDO WAS GREAT. IT IS DECORATED BEAUTIFULLY AND IS IN A GREAT LOCATION. WE ESPECIALLY ENJOYED EATING THE LOCAL SEAFOOD AS WELL AS WATCHING THE DOLPHINS FROM THE BALCONY. IT WAS OUR FIRST TRIP TO ORANGE BEACH AND WE WILL DEFINITELY RETURN.

It was our girls first trip to the beach and as they said "it was awesome". The views were beautiful and the accomodations were excellent. The owners provided everything we needed for a wonderful stay. We will definitely be going back!!

We had a fabulous time! Couldn't have been any better. The condo is wonderful. It is so homey and has everything you could possibly want. The decor is is so cheerful you can't help but to smile everytime you walk in. We will definitely be back as soon as we get a chance.

The unit was great! We stayed during the 4th of July weekend and were able to watch the fireworks right outside the window! The unit is clean and very cute with a wonderful view of the beach. The owners make you feel so comfortable and at home. We will be back.
