This is a beautiful condo in a high-quality building: huge windows with great views, hardwood floors, granite countertops and stainless appliances, gas fireplace, a fantastic deck facing the Yampa River and Howelsen Hill, and a heated garage.
It's beautifully furnished with comfortable leather couches and chairs, and quality beds. Unique art is displayed throughout. There's a cozy throw and pillow for everyone, and lots of places to curl up with a book. Or play one of the many games provided.
And the location can't be beat. Enjoy all that Downtown Steamboat has to offer. It's an easy walk to the shops and restaurants. Don't feel like brewing your own? Stroll downstairs to get your morning coffee and breakfast burrito, enjoy a spa day, or stop by the sports shop and rent your equipment for the day. Walk half a block to catch the free bus to the Steamboat Ski Area. Feel like cross-country skiing today, or get in a few quick downhill runs? Just cross the river on the nearby pedestrian bridge to Howelsen Hill. You'll also find a great ice skating rink there, and go back after dark for snow tubing. Or walk to one of the many nearby bars with live music. Our favorite: the hot springs pools, just a few blocks away.
Be sure to make use of our electronics. Bring your laptop and catch up on email with our high-speed Wi-Fi. Or use one of the high-def, flat-screen TVs to watch premium cable channels, Apple TV, or login to your Netflix account. Enjoy the surround sound system, plus there's an iPod speaker in every room that you can use to charge your iPod or iPhone.
If you book your stay early enough, we can hook you up with lift tickets. We can also help you arrange for a shuttle from the airport or to the mountain, grocery shopping, rent baby gear, ship your luggage, and more. This is your vacation, do what you love.

We had a fabulous weekend in your condo. Everything was so beautiful and we especially enjoyed the over-sized master bathroom. Everything we needed was there, including dog beds for our girls. We slept with the windows cracked and woke up to the beautiful sound of the river in the morning. It was a beautiful way to spend our anniversary. We are already planning another trip back this summer for more fun activities. Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us!Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We had a wonderful stay during Spring Break this year. The condo is downtown but a bit quieter, so it's easy to feel secluded while there. We walked to dinner during the entire week as well as all the cool shops, etc. The condo itself is very well maintained and it's very peaceful sitting on the back deck overlooking the river. We will certainly stay here again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners.

This condo experience was perfect in every sense. The owner is a pleasure to work with. The condo is beautiful and has everything you need. We got to take our dog and hear the river at night. The location was great too. Can walk to bike path, river, Howelsen Hill, healthfood store and shopping and bus to anywhere else. We had a great experience. I highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This place is amazing. It is right downtown and one block from the shuttle to take you anywhere you want to go. It backs to the river and sits right above many conveniences like grocer, coffee, spa, ski shop, etc. We will be back. The place is fully stocked and can't be beat for the price! Best place we have stayed at through VRBO! Thanks Kathy!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights and wished we could have stayed longer, can't say enough great things about this rental. First off great location, walkable to everything downtown, steps from the free bus stop and a ski rental, great view from the deck and quiet location. Secondly we were really impressed with the finishes inside, the furniture and decor were all things we would have in our own home (not like some rentals where you can tell it was furnished with only the basics for cheap) and if you plan on cooking any meals there (we made big pre-ski breakfasts) you will be very pleased with the kitchen set up, cooking utensils, spices, etc available. Sound system throughout, laundry room, super comfy sheets, board games, too many things to mention. Thanks Kathy, we can't wait to come back!!Recommended for: Families with young children, pet owners, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This condo is ideally located near the many unique shops and restaurants of Steamboat Springs. Pop downstairs for a cup of Joe at the organic market and hike along the trail system conveniently across the street. Each time the train came by we all jumped up and watched and listened on the deck. Even the dog enjoyed the thrill. The kitchen was well equipped with all we needed to prepare a Thanksgiving feast. All this aside, the most impressive part of our stay was the outstanding service from the owners. They went out of their way to make sure our stay was both memorable and comfortable. Thank you for a great experience. We highly recommend this property!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Three teens and two adults stayed here over July 4th. This is a beautiful condo with an extremely functional layout, plush, comfy furniture, and artistic touches throughout. The teens raved about the fluffy throws and the electronics. My son said, "mom we have to come back here"--this after at least ten ski season and summertime stays elsewhere in Steamboat. We usually stay on the mountain--but not anymore. We loved being downtown, walking to restaurants and shopping, & bike riding on the river path. If you are a fisherman or woman, one of the best spots on the river is right across from the condo. Check out the Creekside Cafe for breakfast. And the Yampa River Botanic Park is not to be missed--a stunning, peaceful garden with native plants, walking paths, sculpture, and a lake. Working with Kathy was very easy. We hope to return soon, but not over the 4th next year, it's already booked!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2011
About the owner: We moved to Colorado from the midwest right after college. All five of us (including two dogs) spend as much time outdoors as possible. The photo is our son, on his way to winning the 2011 Steamboat Marathon.
Why the Owner Chose Waterside Village:
Our yellow lab, Buck, is from the area. Since he introduced us to Steamboat 8 years ago, we find ourselves drawn back here all the time. Steamboat is the friendliest place we've been, and there are so many things to do, in every season. We never get bored.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
We love downtown Steamboat. We head across the river to Howelsen Hill first thing in the morning, and end each day with a walk through the downtown neighborhoods. There are so many restaurants and shops to choose from, and we do happy hour whenever we can. The best part of the day: a soak in the hot springs pools. All within easy walking distance.
