  I stayed here with two of my friends for an extended girls weekend. It was perfect for us! Tessi was fabulous, even meeting us at the apartment at 6 am to accommodate our early flight arrival. The apartment is one block from the beach, and a few blocks from the best deli/bakery ever (Kasalta's), a good lunch taco place (la b de burro), and a delicious upscale dinner spot (niche). The neighborhood is residential and feels very safe. We didn't rent a car, taking taxis to and from the airport and also into Old San Juan. The apartment in general was a bit on the sparse side, but was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a fraction of the cost of a hotel room in the area.

  We (4 20s-30s adults including 1 couple) were very pleased with our stay here. Tessi was very communicative before arrival, always responding to e-mails very quickly. Oscar met us at the apartment when we arrived, and made sure the internet was repaired quickly when the router got fried during our stay. The apartment was very clean when we arrived. The kitchen has everything you need to eat in for some meals with a modern fridge/freezer, sink, electric stove - also washer and dryer which are nice to have. You can open up lots of windows and the porch doors to enjoy the warm fresh air (my favorite aspect of the apartment!), but the bedrooms are air conditioned so you don't have to sleep in the heat. The location is safe and close to a fantastic, rarely crowded beach. It was pretty windy while we were there (April 2013) and we enjoyed watching the kite surfers. It's easy to find cabs less than a block away. We only have a couple of suggestions. It would be helpful to have dish soap and a sponge, laundry detergent (there was a tiny bit that we used up), and perhaps bath soap available in the apartment. These are things that people won't think to bring, but don't want to buy for a short stay. Also, make sure people know where/when they can take out the trash. A few windows are stuck and don't open. Overall, we highly recommend this apartment. Just as a note, the bedroom that includes two beds is actually much bigger than the bedroom pictured on this page - each bed has its own space which is nice.

  this home was very spacious for my party of 3. I enjoyed waking up every morning, opening the patio door and & enjoying the morning nature air. The first night we had water troubles which was an inconvenience however, I appreciated tessi's urgency to take care of it. Everything we needed was in close range i.e food, gas, stores. The neighbors were even nice enough to help us out whenever we looked lost. For parties with one vehicle it wouldn't be a problem with parking, more than one vehicle, the neighbor didn't want us to block their space in the gate and parking is limited on the streets. The beach was only a minute away which was great. The only suggestions I would make is to have cable boxes attached to each tv because everyone doesn't want to watch the same thing on one tv. Also since the apartment is all tile maybe a few rugs wouldn't hurt to make it feel a little more homier. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, thanks tessi

  Tessi, We enjoyed our stay at your condo and thank you for your hospitality. We felt very at home and enjoyed the residential nature of the neighborhood, chatting with the neighbors, walking to shops and restaurants (Kasaltas!) and, more importantly, the <1 min walk to the (clean!) beach which, given its location in a residential neighborhood, was never too crowded. The ocean was warm and we often went swimming at night. Parking on the street in the evening after the beach goers went home was never a problem, but there is also a garage if you have a small car. The condo was very clean and had plenty of room for our family of four (which included two teenagers). The ocean breezes through the patio doors made relaxing in the living room in the evenings very pleasant, while air conditioning in the bedrooms allowed for pleasant sleeping. We appreciated the availability of beach chairs, beach and shower towels and a washer-dryer in the apartment. However, several things are absolutely needed to make the apartment a home. The bedrooms absolutely need dressers so guests do not have to live out of suitcases and all closets need hanger bars and more hangers. The mattresses were fine but the cheap plastic mattress covers made them uncomfortable. These covers absolutely need to be switched for ones of higher quality and that are cloth. The inclusion in the kitchen of better or new pots and pans, not a lot, just a few more that are Teflon coated and a broom would be nice.

  Beautiful apartment, beautiful location, beautiful country. I was amazed that this apartment was so cheap, especially for this area. Right around the corner was the most breathtaking beach on Puerto Rico and not only that but the supermarket and a handful of amazing and cheap restaurants. I would recommend Kasalta, where President Obama himself sat and ate, and Mangos, try there mango mojito. All in all this apartment was perfect but i would recommend renting a car for travel.

  The place was great and made that much better by how great the owner is. What you see online is exactly what you get. When we needed something or had questions she was available and helped out. When we needed extra sheets she brought some by, when we asked for suggestions about places to go she told us. She even called me after I left because she thought one of us left our identification and said she would mail it. The Ac's in the room were fantastic we actually had to turn it down a little, but it felt great when your were coming in from the heat outside. There is also a washer and dryer which was great so we did not have to go back with dirty laundry. The beach is down the block and there are some very good restaurants in walking distance. I recommend Bebo's on Calle Loiza and I am told Obama ate at Kasalta's which is also near by. There are also many stores, bars, casino's, beaches and much more with in 10mins driving and very doable if you decide to walk. I did it and its not bad of a walk! I recommend this place to anyone looking for a really nice place at a very affordable price. Thanks again Tessi!

  I loved my stay at the ocean park and the beach was right in walking distance and in the apartment I had a basket full of menus and directions to place where I could eat. I have been in other apartments and usually I find bugs and little ants but there are no bugs here! The space is huge and super cheap I was so surprised I can imagine fitting ten people in this apartment. Very well kept and the beds were amazing with great AC system that became my lifesaver in the really hot days. Had 3 queen size beds with plenty of space to spare. Wireless too and fast. The inside decor is nice and gives it a very beautiful tropical feeling with kitchen and 2 tv one outside to watch while eating breakfast and one in each bedroom. There is a cute balcony Let me repeat: THIS APARTMENT IS WORTH WAYYY MORE THAN ACTUAL PRICE IN MARKET. It's a giveaway vacation. A good pick for a family trip or friends and there's great restuarants and night life nearby. I will definitely stay at the ocean walk beach apartment with more people.
