This is a cute apartment in the Montmartre. The owners are wonderful, very helpful and nice. Unfortunately, the location was not the best for what we where we needed to go everyday and required three different metro lines. Montmartre is very interesting with a sorted past but the little street that the apartment is on has a wonderful children's bookstore and patisserie. Be aware that the area is still dealing with its past and if you walk very far you will see several sex shops. I would not advise staying in this area if you are with children or teens.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thanks for your review Julie! The so-called "red-light district" is located in Pigalle, which is far away from the flat ! We have already welcomed many families and never had this kind of problems in the past. All the best, Ioana & Grégoire

This was my first time in Paris and the first time I had used VRBO so I was initially cautious about renting online with people I didn't know. The owners, Loana & Gregoire were incredible! They responded to my emails within hours of my sending them (and I sent them quite a few). They were both helpful and kind. The apartment was exactly as described. It was clean and situated very close to the metro and minutes away from Monmartre. Gregoire met us at the metro station and helped us with our luggage. He even came back to the apartment the same day to answer some questions we had. They left instructions on how to work the wifi and TV and even gave us recommendations on where to eat. There were plenty of linens, towels and they even had shampoo, body wash and conditioner. We were able to cook in the apartment, there was sugar, salt, utensils, everything we needed. There were 3 adults in the apartment and we had no problems at all. I even received an email from them the day we left thanking us for staying and hoping we had a good time. This was an incredible find for us, the price was great, the location was ideal and Loana & Gregoire were the best! I would highly recommend this apartment to anyone.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.

My husband, 10 year old daughter and I stayed at this flat the first week of January. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The flat is very small but cozy and clean. It was winter, and very cold, but the heaters worked great and we were very comfortable. It is located in a great neighborhood, close to Sacre Cour and close to a couple Metro stations. We felt like Parisians stayting there and would stay here agian in a heartbeat. The owner was easy to work with, very friendly, and provided a lot of suggestions for the surrounding neighborhood. The boulangerie across the street provided us with breakfast each morning.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: I am a fashion designer living in Paris for 10 years now. I'm originally from Germany and married a frenchmen a year ago. We have a little daughter.
Why the Owner Chose Paris Arrondissement 9:
I bought this flat in 2007 and was living in it till this summer. With our daughter we had to move so we decided to rent it. I didn't want to sell it, as I love the flat. It's so cosy and the location is great. I love the streets in Montmartre, the cafe 's , the shops, Sacre Coeur with it's stunning view over Paris.
The Unique Benefits at this Apartment:
The flat is very convenient, as its fully equipped, towels, bedsheets, there is also a daily cleaning service possible, if you require. You can have the intimacy of an own flat in Paris, go shopping on the weekly fresh market and prepare your own romantic dinner or you just stroll through Montmartre and and enjoy french restaurants.
