Our stay was perfect. The home's elevation provides wonderful views as does every window in the home. Landscaping and outdoor areas are relaxing and inviting. There are many acres of property surrounding the house but neighbors, when we bumped into them, were very friendly and walking paths have easy access. The beds are comfortable and bathrooms are exceptional. Debbie and Steve are great hosts, feel like friends from the first minute and make sure your stay lives up to your expectations. It felt like home and we hated to leave. I would highly recommend this property.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We loved being at this house. We all needed time away from our work obligations and from the frigid weather our winters dole out. Debbie met us at the house and had snacks in the frig, a vase of fresh flowers and a bowl of candy on the counter. She showed us around the house and was very helpful answering our questions. We thoroughly enjoyed spending time with our family. The house has unobstructed panoramic views where we watched the sunrise and the famous Arizona sunsets. We felt like we were in our own private and isolated oasis but in reality we were not that far from Wickenburg, the grocery store or gas station. It was very quiet and peaceful. Our favorite things at the house were the waterfall, the outside fire pit, the immaculate landscaped yard as well as the pool table. We did take some day trips and had planned on going on a 4-wheeler excursion but it rained so we had to postpone that until next year but it was very comfortable to just hang out at the house and spend time together. We had fresh grapefruit from the trees on the property - yum. The hot tub came in handy to relieve our achy muscles and for us to do some star gazing. All in all, we loved the house and enjoyed our time there and I must say the two weeks flew by way too fast. Hopefully we can do it again next year.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We loved it! Stayed for two months. We felt like we were staying at a five star resort. House was gorgeous, landscaping spectacular, views were awesome, horse facilitity perfect. We had fresh grapefruit, oranges and lemons daily. Favorite things: outdoor bar-be-que grill, stone waterfall, team roping, small western town feeling and dollar martinis at the Tumbleweed. Only thing better than the house was the hospitality of Debbie and Steve the owners.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

If you'd rather be on open land with amazing views of the distant mountians this is the place. Comfortable, gorgeous, beautifully maintained and updated builder's home minutes from Wickenburg yet on natural desert acerage with astounding views. Decent size hot tub. Breakfast on the covered patio watching the birds visit the Saguaros 20 feet away, and cooking steaks on the open Mesquite grill are daily highlights. Can walk down to say hello to the owner's horses and dog if they're in town. Wickenburg has a decidedly western feel and is full of friendly, helpful local folks who can't do enough for you, we found it to be a nice relaxing change from the Phoenix/Scottsdale suburban crush. Restaurants in town are adequate but not high end. This is more about the fun things to do nearby like horseback riding and ATV's. We came here to explore the desert and mountains on ATV's and there are many amazing trails nearby, can even leave right from the front door, and many of these trails are also suitable for a car or SUV to explore, at least to a point. Old abandoned gold mines, newly re-opened gold mines, and old ghost towns are out there to be found, along with beautiful mountain canyons and streams. There is also a wonderful ATV rental/guide service for all levels of riders very nearby, Steve with ATVwickenburg guided us one day and is a great guy. We didn't play golf this trip so can't comment on that. Easy drive about an hour to Carefree or Scottsdale if you want, also not too far from Lake Pleasant maybe can rent a boat. Appears to be a good starting spot for day trips to Prescott or Sedona, etc. Owners are extremely helpful. All around total class.Recommended for: People with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

All of Wickenburg is offered in this wonderful home, spacious, beautifully landscaped and comfortable. Well maintained, close to town but far enough away, and we all enjoyed our stay. The views are amazing and offer scenic changes throughout the day. Sunrises were reason enough to get up early even while on vacation! The kitchen had everything required for preparing our meals and is very spacious and easy to work in. Walking down to the friendly horses and K-9's was a highlight in our day and we usually did this several times. Any communication with the owners was quick and accurate. We are anxious to visit Wickenburg again and hopefully we'll be staying in this same location.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thank you very much for the review. A couple of things I wanted to mention to is that we do have the Netflix going now and our new bed will be in by the time you come for your next stay. Thanks again, Debbie
