Lovely, sun filled apartment nestled in an 1850’s large farmhouse on a working yak farm. Ten minutes to Sugarbush or Mad River Glen. Perfect for couples or a family of 4-5. The full kitchen has counter seating for 4. The bathroom has a large, claw foot soaking tub and separate shower. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and a large closet which houses the washer/dryer. The second bedroom has a double bed. The apartment is equipped with free WiFi, local telephone and flat panel TV.
The Mad River Valley is a stunningly beautiful part of the world to visit with many wonderful amenities, yet far enough off the beaten path to retain its idyllic charm. The property is situated on Route 100 three miles north of the town center. We’re thirty minutes from Stowe, forty-five minutes from Burlington and twenty minutes from Montpelier.

I went up to Waitsfield for the President's Day holiday weekend with my husband, my teenage son, and my son's friend. Everything we wanted access to - Lincoln Peak, Mount Ellen, Mad River Glen, American Flatbread Kitchen, Big Picture Cafe, grocery store -- was within a 10-minute drive. The apartment itself was beautiful. The great room (living room, dining area, kitchen) and the two bedrooms were sun-filled and spacious. The decor was very attractive and everything was in good condition. Having a washer/dryer in the apartment was a great bonus.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.
