Sundance provides all that is the essence of Caribbean living... high ceilings, large fans, rattan furniture, tiled floors, flowers, a bamboo tree and palms. Exposed beam ceilings, colorful artwork, and potted plants against crisp white walls enhance the clean, tropical feeling of the house. For additional comfort the entire house can be air conditioned.
Dine or relax in the balmy comfort of the gazebo while enjoying the view of Chocolate Hole and St. Thomas to the West, Hart Bay and St. Croix to the South, or watching your friends in the pool below.
The well equipped kitchen adjoins the great room. The cooks can enjoy views of the water as they prepare meals or island drinks.
Three bedrooms on separate levels offer excellent privacy for three couples or a family. The large master bedroom on the main floor opens onto the gazebo deck with a spectacular view through a graceful arch. It has a king size bed, a daybed with a trundle, a large walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom with a unique shower garden. Lie in bed and enjoy the sunset view or the lights of St. Thomas while the whispering surf lulls you to sleep.

Why the Owner Chose Hart BayViews of the water and a short walk to swimming and snorkeling. We love to hear and see the water and sky in all their changing moods and watch boats sail by. The house is close to Cruz Bay, yet quiet and peaceful. There is a paved road all the way to the house and a practically level driveway and easy entry. The house is comfortable and spacious and of course it is on St. John which is 2/3rds National Park!
The Unique Benefits at this VillaIt is delightful to sit on the deck and watch the surf in Hart Bay or lay in bed at night and go to sleep to the gentle sound of the surf. It is close to Cruz Bay, restaurants, and shopping.

While sailing throughout the Caribbean, we always came back to the unequaled beauty of St John. We love the fact that St. John is two thirds National Park and Moonsong and Sundance are so close to the water. We have chosen St. John as a home to raise our family and love the closeness of the community and living close to nature. Wen enjoy being in the vacation rental business, meeting interesting people and offering people good service and a comfortable place to stay.

We have been back to Sundance so many times I have lost count. Linda and Allen have been great hosts. They go out of their way to welcome us and always have the house in good order for our arrival. They even have fresh flowers out when we arrive! We keep returning to Sundance because we love the spaciousness and privacy for ourselves and our guests. The master bedroom is very large and on the main floor. The second master bedroom, also large is on the pool deck so the other friends that travel with us have their own space and privacy. The smaller third bedroom, also overlooking the pool is also private and comfortable with it's own covered deck. We like that there are 5 sitting/lounging areas so that one of us can get away with a book and read quietly while the others are chatting. With air conditioning throughout the house we know we will never get too hot, though we rarely even use it. It is nice to have the option. Sometimes we get two rental cars so we have options and the driveway is large enough to easily park two cars (or more). And thank goodness there is easy access. I have been to other rental houses where the driveways are very steep and at the end of a long bumpy road. Sundance is about a mile and a half from Cruz Bay on a paved road and then an easy access flat (for St. John) driveway. The only thing we have to worry about is remembering to stay on the left when we drive on St. John! We've have great times at Sundance. When we have just 2-3 people we rent Linda and Allen's cute cottage Moonsong with the same great views and easy drive. We love St. John. It renews and revives us every time we come. Linda and Allen, We really enjoyed our time in your beautiful home. The fact that it was 104 degrees back home (nearly a record for Boston) added to that. Your deck and pool and views to St. Thomas and Hart Bay are incredible. We swam with the turtles two different days at Maho and tarpon off Trunk Bay. It was so nice to come home to the privacy of our own pool after a day exploring St John. We loved watching the lights of St. Thomas come on and the stars come out as we lingered over dinner cooked on the grill. You provided everything we needed for a perfect vacation. It is nice to know that the Virgin Islands are cooler than the northeast in the summertime and we now know a great place to retreat to when we want to escape.
