Our Rim Drive Home, has beautiful thru-the-trees lake views from the grand living/family room., a freestanding real wood fire stove and a large flat screen TV with cable/Wifi and a stereo system. The house has all up-to-date appliances and fixtures throughout, new tiled/natural rock bathrooms, and carpet in the all bedrooms. There is lovely oak flooring in the grand family room.
There is a brand new, year round, covered Hot-Tub with seating for up to 6 people, proffesionally maintained. This RIm Home is warm and comfortable, perfect for Tahoe vacations all year round.

We were a group of 8 and found the house delightful. The beds and furniture were all comfortable and met our needs. This was a lovely home and we would definitely stay again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This wonderful Tahoe home was everything that I expected. Not only was the owner accommodating, she did her best to make sure everything went smoothly with our agenda. Everything in the detailed description was accurate and beyond our expectations. The easy walk down the hill gives a spectacular view of the lake and the house itself was easy to find. The note explained on the AC thermometer should be upheld, any higher on the thermostat and it gets to hot downstairs (their "comfortable" temperature holds true). The hot tub does take some time to warm up however, when primed it was very hot and awesome. Water in the house is heated fairly quickly and their kitchen was easily accessible.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We recently stayed at this wonderful home and I have to say we can't wait to go back.The pictures don't do this house justice. The views of the lake from the living room are beautiful, the house is extremely clean and the location of the house cant be beat! We easily traveled to North Star and Incline Village and enjoyed great shopping and great restaurants. It was a perfect mini vacation!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

The house was beautiful!! Loved the fact it was ADA. The chair lift was extremely helpful. Could have used more cooking utensils such as a large frying pan. Also, we were short on bath towels. We couldn't use the hot tub till monday when the maintenance company came.It had looked unsanitary before they came and had a bad oder. Other then that it was a wonderful home and we had a great time.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, people with disabilities.
Owner response: Thank you for your constructive criticism! We have changed the schedule of the spa maintenance man to once weekly, opposed to once every two weeks. We have also added more towels and utensils! : )

I have stayed at this cabin twice. It is centrally located to Squaw, Alphine Meadows, and Northstar. It has beautiful views of the lake and surronding areas. The home is very comfortable, clean, and quiet. The owners are very easy to work with and really look after your needs. I look forward to staying there on my next trip to Tahoe.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, people with disabilities, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

We were a big group (7 adults + 3 kids) and we had a wonderful time at the house. It is very well located and it's very nice to host a family holiday. Highly recomended!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Six of us stayed here while doing the Tough Mudder race at Northstar. Everyone enjoyed the cabin and we would definitely rent again. The beds were comfortable and the upstairs layout worked well for all of us to hang out. It would work equally well for a couple families with kids. The charcoal for one of the grills was wet so we just switched and used the gas grill instead; nice to have the choice! The owner was easy to work with and the security deposit was returned promptly. Gotta give a shout out to North Tahoe Checker Taxi - they got us everywhere we needed to go.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

About the owner: We fell in love with Lake Tahoe since we moved to California in 1984. We rented vacation homes for a while and acquired a taste for Tahoe rustic and mountain living and enjoyed all seasons in Tahoe. We have remodeled our home and made it a vaction paradise for others also to enjoy.
Why the Owner Chose Kings Beach:
LOCATION, we loved the location, great lake view, walk to lake and town. County maintained road always open in the winter and snow removal is as a priority, easy access to 5 skii resorts in the winter. Nevada Casinos are just few miles away. The house is great at has the mountain feel and is a classic Tahoe A- frame with a wrap around large deck, nice professinally maintained yard with grass and trees.
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our favorite activities are snowboarding at any one of several ski resorts within 10-15 minutes drive. During summer we enjoy boating on the crystal clear water of Lake Tahoe. Evening is spent on the view deck looking over spectacular Lake Tahoe.
