TAHOE'S AWESOME MAJESTY: Seasonal flower beds and expansive lawn greet you when you arrive at this meticulously maintained home. Entering the front door you are met with light flowing through a beautiful glass-block wall. A gentle set of stairs leads up to the great room, boasting soaring ceilings and light shining in through the skylights and massive view windows. You will be drawn to the generous deck overlooking the waterway, with a backdrop of majestic mountain peaks. Mt. Tallac, with its trademark cross of snow will pull your vision as you take in the grandeur of the glacier-made Tahoe basin.
You may decide to sit awhile in the golden teak chairs as you breathe in the freshness of the mountain air: or you may not be able to resist exploring the rest of the property. Re-entering the great room you will notice the huge round solid maple dining table with seating for 8, making note of the beautiful lazy-susan, as you imagine the family memories to be made around this table.
THE GREAT ROOM: The grand kitchen, with granite countertops and additional island seating for six more, will delight the serious chef in you. The Thermador gas range, walk-in pantry, and generously outfitted cupboards allow you to entertain in high style.
Turning to the professionally decorated living room, sporting black leather furniture with ample seating for all, imagine sitting by the blazing gas-log fireplace, or watching a movie in sharp 3D with theatre-quality surround sound on the 55'' flatscreen HDTV. Plug in your iPod (or create your favorite station on Pandora) for music throughout the house.
Explore the master suite, decorated in unique ironwork and numerous built-in cabinets. Luxuriate in the king-size pillow top bed with high-quality linens, or relax in the softly lit spa-like bathroom. You will find a deep jetted-tub, his and hers sinks and showers , and a special winter treat, the steam shower. Check out the view of Heavenly from the MBR windows or private deck.
HAVE SOME FUN: Downstairs, gather around the 46'' HDTV for TV, a movie, or try your hand at some old-school Nintendo-64 video games. You'll also find a keyboard for making music and a wet bar with a small refrigerator.
There are 2 elegant guest rooms, EACH with pillow-top queen beds and views across the water. The 4th bedroom has 2 twins beds. All bedrooms are spacious, with large mirrored closets. Additional sleeping arrangements consist of a Q sofa bed in the upstairs living room, and a comfortable Q futon in the den.
Take a peek in the garage to find built-in ski and boot racks, snow toys, 3 sets of snowshoes, 2 kayaks, 4 Mongoose mountain bikes, and our newest addition, a ten-foot Stand-Up Paddle Board (SUP). All to be used at your own risk!
Grab one of the fishing rods and try your luck on the dock or one of the local streams. Choose a game of croquet, bocce, volleyball or badminton on the level back lawn. Enjoy a jet massage in the hot tub or hang the hammock for a siesta.

Lake Tahoe is one of my favorite vacation spot and staying at this beautiful, spacious and clean house made it just a perfect trip for all of us. Upstairs large living room with a balcony had a perfect view of the lake. We enjoyed sitting around the kitchen area, having our meal and looking at the lake. What impressed me was seeing skylights in the kitchen area and master bedroom’ s large bathroom, giving a just a natural light to the space. Living room had plenty of space for all of us to watch movies on a large screen TV with awesome surrounding sound system. We were also able to sit and enjoy the hot tub Jacuzzi. The owner was very courteous. Upon our arrival she called and welcomed us to the house and made sure to call her or the caretaker if we had any issue with the house. The house made us feel like home. Attempted again today to submit our review, with no luck. Then contacted Customer Service who sent me another link & he monitored your reviews as I tried again to submit it. No luck. He told me to go directly to your home's site on HomeAway & submit it thru there. Tried it, no luck. So I'm sorry but I think I've tried all I can. Hope all is well with you, Kathy “Incredible waterfront home, wonderful views What a fantastic home for the early March family reunion/birthday weekend that we spent in Lake Tahoe. 3 generations were able to fit here comfortably - each had their own space, living area & privacy. The Great Room was perfect for a large gathering. Plenty of room for seating as well as multiple cooks in the kitchen! Very well equipped and CLEAN! Big walk-in pantry/laundry room with large capacity washer & dryer. The HUGE double-wide refrig has lots of easy access storage area. Although it was a snowy weekend, we used the hot tub every day - no maintenance problems either! The homeowner, Janie, was terrific to work with, very attentive to our needs. And the rental process itself was very easy to use. It was nice to just “book it” and then receive a confirmation within a few hours, so that we knew that we would get the house when we needed it. The house is Beautiful, loved the the amazingly spacious living space on the first floor, with the living room, kitchen and dining room all open. The view was amazing. And it's in the Tahoe Keys, so you have your own dock and the backyard is straight on the lake. We swore we'd go back in summer! and in winter again! :)Owner response: Just to clarify, our backyard boat dock is on a wide expanse of the Tahoe Keys waterway, with the whole of Lake Tahoe just a short kayak, paddleboard or boat cruise away.

This place was amazing! It was truly the highlight of our Tahoe vacation. The property was immaculate, and the amenities were very user friendly. Our party of 12 fit comfortably, and we made good use of the BBQ, spa, paddle board, kayaks, fishing rods, board games, and mountain bikes. We also rented a boat and docked it at the house. We were only one of a few out on the lake that weekend; it was like glass! Emerald Bay is very close, so we boated in and hiked much of it. It was incredible! The view at the property is stunning. You get the mountains and lake, and the sunsets are spectacular! The owner, Janie, is super cool, down to earth, and extremely helpful. As soon as I entered the house, I knew that we had made the right decision in renting this home for our family get together on Mother's day weekend. The view of the snow capped mountains and lake from the living room, dining room, kitchen and deck made me feel so happy to just be able to soak it all in. Even cooking and washing dishes didn't feel like a chore when you are amongst these surroundings. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed for our weekend stay. We all felt like we needed another day to really enjoy more of what was there. I regret not having the time to partake of the hot tub. There definitely will be a next time. Thank you Janie! This is the nicest place our family has stayed at of all our vacations. Very comfortable, very luxurious, spacious, with a beautiful interior and yard. If there weren't so many great activities in the Tahoe area, we'd spend more time indoors. Everything was top notch, even down to the carbon fiber paddle for the SUP. My niece even caught a sunfish right off the dock. My brother and I paddled all the way out to the main lake one evening in the kayaks. The owner is very nice, and even mailed me an item I left behind. The review is a year late, but the place is very memorable. Highly recommended.Did you find this review helpful? Please submit review in my behalf-- Rating: 5 Stars-- Title: A Lovely Stay at the SUP House-- I would recommend the SUP house to anyone. It is not new but it is very clean, well maintained and it smelled clean- which to me is a plus! I love the open layout with high ceiling and huge windows that will give you access to the breathtaking view. The kids enjoyed the hot tub and the cozy family room. Estuvimos del 22 al 27 de marzo de 2013, estuvimos 2 familias (4 adultos y 4 niños) comodamente alojados en las 4 recamaras con las que cuenta la propiedad. La casa esta en excelentes condiciones, muy amplia comoda y bien decorada, practicamente nueva!, el yacussi perfecto, el baño de la recamara principal cuenta con vapor. Esta ubicada a 10-12 minutos de Hevenly, se recomienda rentar auto.Regresaria sin problemas, excelente precio para una casa con esas caracteristicas.Did you find this review helpful?
