Beautifull House!! everything is as the pictures shown...very modern, the bathroom with steam was perfect after a long, long skiing day! 16 min away from Grousse Mountain ( Beautifull ), 15 min. away from Capilano Park, close to stores, 10 min away from Downtown, this House had everything , recommended to people who wants to have a nice, warm, quiet, cozy, safe place. We stayed at this lovely property the week of my daughter's wedding. It was perfect for our purposes! The location worked out so well ..for picking guests up at the airport and skytrain; for proximity to Main Street where the wedding venue was; for restaurants, etc. We were delighted to find the property as clean and modern as the pictures reflected. The hot tub turned out to be a welcome perk after much hard work with wedding preparations! And the young adults certainly enjoyed the pingpong table. I would defnitely recommend this property to friends and relatives. Indeed, we've told Tim, our friendly landlord that we most likely will become repeat customers as my daughter is making Vancouver her home. Thanks Tim ... Tucked neatly into the Mt Pleasant neighborhood of Vancouver convenient to vibrant local shops, this lovely residence is a delight to the eye as the well thought out design brings old and new together in a unique partnership. Stimulating art engages one from every vantage point in this 3-level home of extraordinary design and complementary furnishings. Warm at the side of its gas fireplace as light flourishes through southern windows, lose all tensions in its top-level steam shower, or relax in its open-air hot tub amidst flowered gardens. This home is a better choice than any hotel as it lavishes guests of every inclination. A fully equipped kitchen and country dining area by windowed doors to a balcony deck, friendly sitting places and readers' corners, private bedrooms, an entertainment center both state-of-the-art and graced with a piano to encourage reflective urgings--a serenity born of quietude and energy and blended harmonically. When next in Vancouver, I'll be calling for another dose of Tim & Gita's charming hostelry.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, tourists without a car.

Wonderful Vancouver home vacation rental! Met the owner at the beginning of our stay and he was very responsive to all questions. Location is walking distance to many tasty restaurants, grocery market and public transportation. Vancouver's many attractions are nearby via car or the public transportation. The property was clean with linens and well equipped kitchen. The rain shower and steam bath is great to come home to. Bed arrangement is perfect for a family of four. Even has a washer and dryer with detergent. Highly recommended and would stay again on our next visit.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

This modern home in an urban setting is only a few miles from downtown and made a great home base to explore Vancouver. The fireplace, computer & WiFi, grand piano, media room, and hot tub, made it a great place to come back and unwind. After paying the rates to park in downtown Vancouver, it was treat to just pull in the driveway and walk inside. Staying in a residential neighborhood felt like you were living in Vancouver more than visiting. The house is great. The hot tub and yard are next to a school playground and could use a few more shrubs for a more cozy feeling of privacy. The owner was exceptionally responsive.Did you find this review helpful? This home was exactly as described, clean, unique, has an excellent location with everything you could possibly need! The house is actually more spacious than the pictures reflect. The media room is awesome and the decorating is beautiful (the art collection is fantastic!) The home is minutes away from shopping and restaurants and Stanley Park, yet located on a quiet street so you don't feel like you are right in the middle of a city. There is a parking space right in front of the main entrance and plenty of street parking. The owner is easy going and responded immediately to all questions and was always just a phone call away! I would recommend this home to anyone who staying in the Vancouver area!Recommended for: Age 55+, sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway.
