This cottage offers plenty of large windows, balconies and decks to maximize your views from all sides. Although some distance from the water's edge; the unobstructed Sound Views make this home considered Soundfront. The fully furnished kitchen features a large refrigerator with a freezer drawer below, dishwasher, garbage disposal, upgraded cabinetry, granite counter tops, double ovens and kitchen bar with 4 stools. Right off the kitchen area is a small hallway that has the powder room and laundry room with full size washer and dryer. The dining room features a table that will accommodate 10. Right off the dining room is a screened porch. The porch has a table with 6 stools and two comfortable chairs and a ceiling fan with light fixture. The porch is a perfect area for that evening game of cards, a quick snack or to set up a jigsaw puzzle to work on while you are at The Edge. The main living room offers a full size couch with matching love seat, two large wing chairs and large coffee table. Sit back and enjoy the flat screen TV/ Blue Ray. The Edge is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet access. The den/office has a sleep sofa that opens to a queen size bed should you need extra sleeping accommodations. The main floor master suite features a king size premium mattress bed, TV and outstanding views of the Sound. The master bath includes a full-size stand up custom tiled shower and a full-size whirlpool tub. The deck outside the main level is large and has numerous places to sit and enjoy the view. There are stereo speakers for your listening enjoyment and a gas grill. A 6 person hot tub is located on this deck and is the best place to be with a good beverage and a perfect sunset. The upstairs master suite features a king size premium mattress bed, TV and wonderful ocean and sound views. This suite has it very own private deck from which you can see both the Ocean and Sound. This master suite has a huge custom tiled bathroom with double sinks and an enormous shower. There are 2 more bedrooms on the second floor. One features a king size premium mattress bed, TV and access to a small balcony with spectacular Sound views. The other second floor bedroom features 2 twin beds, TV and great views of the ocean. There is a full bath located on the second floor main hallway which is convenient to both the bedrooms and raised loft. There is a second laundry room located on the second floor with a stacked full size washer and dryer. Take another small flight of stairs from the second floor main hallway and you will enter the raised loft with 10 ft. ceilings, couch with a chaise, 2 huge comfortable chairs, 2 wicker wing chairs and TV / DVD. Go out the French doors to the top deck and take in, what could possibly be, the best view of the Sound you have ever seen. This beautiful beach cottage also features a Ships Watch. This is a small quiet area that has an upholstered chaise lounge and looks out over the ocean. This is a perfect place to sit quietly in the morning with your coffee and watch as the sun comes up. The Edge also features a game room on the lower level. You can enjoy a game of pool on a full sized pool table, or watch the wall mounted TV with DVD player. For your convenience there is a wet bar with a small under counter refrigerator, microwave, sink and plenty of cabinet space. Open the sliding door in the recreation room and you are steps away from the outside shower and fabulous in-ground pool! Access to the garage, outside, downstairs bedroom and downstairs full bath is available from the recreation room. The lower level bedroom features 2 twin beds, TV and has an adjoining full bath. This was a true family vacation with siblings and in laws. It was one of the best houses that we have rented so far. What an awesome view to the ocean as well as the habor.
