About the owner: We purchased this home as a family retreat and our family has enjoyed it over the years and it has not been a rental until lately since Nantahala has become such a destination and there is a demand for rental. We love this property and want people to treasure it as their own home.

With the elevation of 3000', the air conditioning is seldom used as there is a nice cool breeze during the hottest of weather. The view of the mountains behind the lake is breathtaking. The Appalachian & Bartram Trails are nearby for walking trails. The town of Andrews, Bryson City and Franklin of antiquing and interesting shopping.
