This area is just fantastic---full of Nature Preserves, soft, sugar-like sand, phenomenal shell-gathering, Gopher Tortoises, Dolphins, beautiful serenading birds and sidewalks to walk, run, bicycle etc.. WE absolutely loved our stay and have no hesitation in our decision to return. The beach is pristine and it takes only a few steps to the Gulf where one can see incomparable sunsets and walk for miles. In the morning you can see the sunrise in the east and listen to all the birds welcoming another day. The manager could not have been more accomodating, helpful and eager to make our stay positive and enjoyable. Everything we needed was available, and we loved the sun-filled rooms and the large windows which made each room cheerful and bright. It truly felt like home from the minute that we arrived. We have stayed in many areas and places in Florida, but Bonita Beach is definitely the most attractive and appealing. Each day we visited some place new--ie Barefoot Beach Nature Preserve, Lovers' Key, Hickory Island and there are fantastic restaurants, wonderful shopping areas and the people are friendly and positive. Can not say enough about our stay---everything was above and beyond our expectations and we will return.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Our family has been vacationing in and around Bonita Springs/Naples area for many years and have rented various places along Bonita Beach. We are from the Long Island area and love escaping the cold winters with the kids. We can't say enough good things about our entire experience with this rental. Right from the start the owners were very helpful in answering our questions about the property and the amenities available to us. We found this home to be very cozy, clean and spacious for our family. Everything we needed from breakfast to grilling out back on the large deck was readily available and easy to find. The beach was very close (literally less than a minute walk) where we spent much of our time collecting sea shells, watching the dolphins play and viewing the most amazing sunsets in the evening! So much to see and do in the area from jet skiing at Doc's Beach House to quiet nature walks at Lover's Key which are both minutes away! Also five to 10 minutes away from fabulous restaurants and shopping. We definitely plan on staying at this home the next time we visit Bonita Beach!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

About the owner: After traveling around the Caribbean and the World we kept returning to Bonita Springs. The beaches here are the cleanest we've ever experienced and the natural unspoiled beauty of this area kept us coming back year after year. Based on our travels, we feel that these beaches are unparalleled. The shelling, birding, fishing and water sports are exceptional and unlike anything we've encountered anywhere else. Ft. Myers International airport provides numerous flights making travel to our house a breeze. The warm waters of the Gulf are extraordinary and the entire area is truly captivating for us and our friends.

Bonita Beach is officially classified as a Tropical Setting and to us feels like you are in the Caribbean. It is quiet and very relaxed yet close to all the amenities and comforts of home. We feel that Bonita Beach is a real treasure. It isn’t overcome with touristy shops. Majestic homes fill the shoreline. It has miles of soft, white sand, great shelling, dolphin sightings, and turtle nesting grounds directly in front of the house.

Our home is located directly on Bonita Beach between Lovers Key and Barefoot Beach (which are both just a short stroll along the ocean). • Lovers Key State Park has a bird-filled forest of mangroves that leads to a gorgeous, unspoiled beach. The shelling here is excellent. • Barefoot Beach Park (just south of our house) is one of the last undeveloped barrier islands on Florida's west coast. It has a 342-acre natural preserve. It's unfettered 8,200 feet of beach and sand dunes is more than a haven for beach bums -- it's the home of the protected gopher tortoise. Swimmers, snorkelers, rafters, kayakers, and windsurfers will appreciate the clear waters right at our door.Stay here and you’ll never have to leave the beach. Nature abounds here and the sunset views are spectacular.
