  The reason to rent this house is the fantastic location, right off the connector. This means easy access to Charleston, grocery stores, restaurants and the beach. The rooms and the porch on the house are spacious, and the living area is very comfortable. Outdoor furniture and grill needed major cleaning, but no cleansers were to be found. Some of the appliances in the kitchen are updated - nice microwave and range. The dishwasher is NOT secured to the wall and the dryer needed cleaning before use. The kitchen came outfitted very minimally with not even a sponge to wash dishes, and there was nothing in the way of pantry items, like salt, pepper or sugar (I've rented many houses, and have never encountered this). The bathrooms are very dated, and the linens provided are like those of a cheap motel.

  This is a very comfortable, clean beach house. The original wood floors add indescribable character and warmth to the home. The large deck (with both covered and uncovered portions) make ocean gazing even more fun! We could not have asked for a more relaxing home and we will return again.

  We were so pleased to find this property on Isle of Palms. While many properties on the island are very large/expensive or at the far end in Wild Dunes, we found this traditional wooden clapboard with spacious deck & private beach access to be just what we were looking for. The property is close to the Isle of Palms connector road and walking distance from the shops and restaurants in town. The living rooms is perfect, with wonderful views and great furnishings, the kitchen and bathrooms are older but just fine, the laundry room is great, the house has wood floors and beautiful light & windows. The best part is the over-sized oceanfront deck - part is covered with a dining table and Adirondack chairs, part is uncovered with a gas grill. The morning light was wonderful and it was the perfect spot for morning coffee & afternoon cocktails. The linens and towels were very nice, the housekeepers do a thorough job and the arrival procedure was great. The kitchen is outfitted well and the wireless internet was great. We did not have any problems or questions during our week, but I feel confident that we would have had assistance from Jim if needed. I would highly recommend the property and look forward to staying there again.

  The ocean view, easy access to the beach. and location of this property are outstanding. The proximity to shopping, sports, fishing, and historic Charleston can't be beat. The property's open floor plan is ideal for friends and family members of all ages. The home was comfortably furnished and the kitchen well-equipped for a beach house rental. While this is an older home, it was very clean. 5 stars for all aspects except one. 3 stars for 'well-maintained' but nothing a good handyman couldn't bring up to par in a day. I have already recommended this property to friends and relatives.

  This house worked exceptionally well for my family of 6, and could have accommodated 7. We loved the layout, the kids loved the bunkbeds, and the kitchen was fully equiped; we also put the laundry room to good use. The proximity to the beach was great! I would definately rerent this property and recommend it to others. Jim Covington, my contact person, was very dependable and helpful.

  We stayed at the cottage with our son, daughter-in-law and 4 grandchildren. The house had a perfect beach feel and location could not have been better. Our own boardwalk to the beach, outside shower, made trips back and forth to the beach several times a day so easy with four kids. House was so much more spacious than pictures show. The owner was so nice to work with also. We hope to be back soon for more beach memories. Would highly recommend!

  We came for a ladies weekend get away and couldn't have enjoyed it more. The house is so comfortable and cozy- a true beach cottage feel! The living areas are wonderful and feel bigger than they look in the pictures on the website. We enjoyed evenings on the porch listening to the waves and in the mornings enjoyed sitting in the living room and looking out the picture window to the beach & ocean. Great house, great location, great owner to deal with! Thanks again!
