Guys - enjoy a day fishing in the Bass capital of the world. Seven Sisters Islands, locally known as a fishing hotspot, are right in your backyard! Seasonal shrimping and blue crabbing, too.
Golf - Palatka Golf Club is nearby and waiting to challenge you with its Donald Ross designed course. Additional golf adventures can be found at the World Golf Village near St. Augustine, with its legendary King & Bear or Slammer & Squire courses, and the notable World Golf Hall of Fame museum.
Ladies - while the guys are fishing or golfing, how about a shopping trip to the St. Augustine Prime Outlet malls? After shopping, enjoy the afternoon in historic St. Augustine, only 36 country miles away. Be sure to tour the Castillo de San Marcos, which dates back to 1695. Stroll around the old shoppes downtown, or travel over the Bridge of Lions to beautiful Anastasia Island beach. On Sundays, be ready for an afternoon of BINGO at the community's clubhouse.
Nearby Palatka offers a full range of shopping and dining. On the way, make sure to stop by Corkie Bells Restaurant for some fantastic classic-Florida-style seafood on the river. Plan on visiting Ravine Gardens State Park during Azalea season, perhaps enjoying a picnic on the grounds. We had a great time at your vacation home in June 2012. Your furnishings are very comfortable and made for a pleasant stay. The new dock made a perfect place to dock our boat during the entire stay. It is evident that you have made many upgrades to the home. The screened patio was also refreshing to sit on without having to fight bugs. We will definitely return for a longer stay as we come to the area often to fish. We are so glad we found your listing. Darra was eager to accommodate our needs when we booked with a short notice. Great house, great fishing, and a great value. Thank you again for sharing your home with our family.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

This is a freshly remodeled well appointed house that will allow you to feel at home. It does not "feel" like a double wide trailer. Wonderful tiled bathroom with stand up showers.Comfortable beds, new furniture, new W/D. The A/C works well as do all appliances. Great screened in porch with a really nice propane grill. The boat dock is super convenient with electric and water. Friendly and quiet neighbors. The BEST fishing in America. I never took my boat out of the water and fished EVERY day. Covered carport and plenty of parking just across the street. Take your own pillows for added comfort. Plenty of TV channels with the digital antenna. Nope, not a bad moment and we certainly plan on returning. GREAT VALUE. GREAT LOCATION. GREAT FISHING. Darra is a very nice person who responds quickly and was always accessible. The house was very clean upon arrival and smelled pleasant. The yard was frshly mowed...Can't wait to return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.
