Our house (we've named it Mela di Giada) is a beautiful, large and newly renovated house in the Landfall area of East Hampton. The main floor boasts an open floor plan and a two-story atrium. There are so many windows that you do not need any indoor lighting during the day.
This is a private and quiet retreat. It's a great place to read, meditate, or simply do nothing! Of course, we provide fast wifi and cable tv (along with HBO) as well as a variety of DVDs.
The kitchen is newly renovated with stainless steel appliances, including a large refrigerator with built-in ice and water dispenser, Wolf gas stove and oven, and is stocked with cooking supplies for your use. The bathrooms all have floor to ceiling tiles and were recently renovated. We have hardwood floors throughout the main house.
The dining room comfortably seats 8 at the table, and 4 more at the kitchen counter adjacent to the dining room.
In addition, there is a large deck just off the dining room with both a propane grill and a charcoal grill (with an automatic igniter).
The Master Suite is on the 3rd floor and boasts a king-sized bed, seating area, and a large ensuite bath that is new & beautifully tiled (see our photos!). It also has a private deck with seating.
The house is located 1.5 blocks from a bay beach (Gardiner's Bay), and is surrounded by trees. There is public entry to the beach less than 2 blocks away. We are also adjacent to Cedar Point County Park (a 607 acre nature preserve).
The villages of East Hampton and Sag Harbor are less than 15 minutes away by car.
Keywords: Relax in a modern and stunning 3-story house on an 1 acre lot and less than 2 blocks away from bay beach. There is a heated pool, plenty of outdoor seating and several decks. There is also a separate yoga studio. Everything has been remodeled within the past 3-4 years with new appliances.

We rented this house over the New Year's holiday in 2012. The house perfectly accomodated two families with 4 adults and 5 kids. The house is very close to the beach (which looked great on our winter walks) and was wonderfully maintained, clean and fresh. The backyard and pool are both very spacious. The owners were very helpful and responsive in setting up the rental, answering questions and providing recommendations. And what a pleasure to arrive and see fresh coffee beans ready to grind for the next morning! I would highly recommend this rentalRecommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I rented this amazing house with some girlfriends for my bachelorette weekend and I can honestly say that the pictures here don't do it justice. The house is simply perfect, incredibly decorated, spacious, bright, comfortable and has anything one could ever need. The deck and pool area are amazing and we got to spend most of our days lounging by the enormous pool. The beach is very close by and just stunning and there are plenty of walks to do in the area. Very close to East Hampton (took us 10 mins in a cab) and East End Taxi were incredible - all of their drivers were prompt, polite and helpful. Last but not least, Grace and her husband could not be more accommodating. They were available 24/7 and answered all of our questions and queries immediately. They even left me a present as a congratulations gift! I think this house is such a gem, do not think twice about it and rent it now!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

About the owner: This is our new vacation home and we love staying here! We are an well-educated couple with very stressful jobs, so this has been a great place for us to relax. We travel a lot, but decided it was time for us to have a 2nd home for us to visit regularly. We are very happy to share it with our guests and hope you'll enjoy your stay. Because the house has so many windows and there are large trees surrounding us, we really feel like we are in the woods. We love walking to the beach -- my husband walks there daily when we visit. For us, it is a nice retreat and contrast to the busy city life. We think this house is exceptional. We recently purchased it after looking at more than 50 houses on the market.

Who doesn't want to visit or live in the Hamptons? Truthfully, we considered houses in the village of East Hampton and Sag Harbor, but fell in love with this woodsy area.
