It is absolutely the closest house to the beach anywhere! Great for surfers and fisherman and the whole family. You will love the sheer magic of the beach!
Our house has a spectacular 260 degree view!
Our newest upgrades are King Size Tempur-Pedic mattress in Master Bedroom. Two new large swings underneath on patio. Several new Palm trees.
Completely private deck, both in front of the house and off the master bedroom. Rumor has it that 'What happens on the porch, stays on the porch!'
Relax on the covered or uncovered decks directly facing the ocean. Nap on the ample chairs on the decks to the roar of the ocean! Watch the sunbathers on the beach. Rock yourself to sleep in the rocker.
This beautiful new home, built after we lost our first home to hurricane Ike sleeps up to 10 adults in three bedrooms. There is a queen bed convertible couch in the living room and another double bed there too, but the beds in the three bedrooms are all brand new with new mattresses and very inviting.
The well designed open floor plan has huge windows (the largest that are allowed in a hurricane zone) with lots of great views of the beach and the waves.
Easy and quick access to the beach is about 50 feet from the door. You can have your feet wiggling in the warm sand one minute from the door.
The outside sand shower has plenty of hot water for a relaxing shower before you enter the main house. There is also a fishing table with hot and cold running water and a deep sink to wash the fish right next to a new white double swing and family size picnic table.
If you enjoy lying around after a long walk on the beach, the living room has a 52' flat screen TV with Dish Network. The couches in the living room are perfect napping couches. You will see what I mean the first time you grab a cold drink and lie down. Nothing like a nap on a warm summer day with the roar of the ocean in your ears to help you relax...
The spacious Master Bedroom with King Size Tempur-pedic Mattress. It has its own private deck through the French doors. From that deck there is not another house around - it is just sand and beach. Naturally there is a wall mounted flat screen TV with built in DVD player to watch 'Jaws' while you see and hear the waves in the master suite! The master bedroom also has it own private bathroom, closet and locking door from the rest of the house.
If you need it (and we all do!). there is high speed Wi-Fi throughout the house and property to get that last minute work complete or to update Facebook or write your Blog.
Unlike some many other rentals, we have provided all the linens and towels you will need. Just please bring your own beach towels!
Every morning we beach comb to see what the waves have brought in overnight! We have found everything from watches to footballs; fishing gear to boxes of food! See what you can find!
The beach is full of beautiful shells to take home or to make arts and crafts with. The sand is ideal for that great sand castle you've been wanting to build.
There is plenty of bird watching if you like that, some of the birds we still have not identified! But they are all fun to feed! We had over 100 seagulls over our heads last week while we were feeding them!
But the important thing is the beach; the warm sand, the crashing waves, and the salt air! Our home is beautiful and designed to maximize the views and maintain our privacy. We want you to enjoy it as much as we do.
Come and enjoy lots of fun in the sun. Our home is great for family vacations or private get-a-ways. We are now tacking reservations for 2012 and beyond.

We are so excited to share our beach home to families that will respect and appreciate it like we do. It was very difficult to lose our first home to the hurricane, but we think all will agree that 'A Site to Sea' lives up to her name!
Information to know once you rent: You are allowed to have campfires on the beach. Our coffee pot is a Mr. Coffee drip pot and we have 2 quart pincher and plenty of dishes!

We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house. It was easy to find, had wonderful beach access and fit our group needs! It was clean, stocked and there were no surprises! We would definitely recommend this property - in fact we've already put our deposit down for next year! The only trouble we had was getting wireless access.Recommended for: Age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

This place was awesome. We had a weekend work outing with 10 adults. The beach house was very nice and the location was perfect. Only down side was a smell of sulfur in the kitchen the first night. I will definitely be going here again next time I go to crystal beach.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, families with young children.

Neither of property manager were able to notice any smell at all. We also check with the people before you and after you renting our property and they alway didn't detect any smell either. Our beach house is brand new this and there is no gas line in the house, so perhaps there was something in the air that day.

Wow! The sunrise was spectacular fm your beach house! We had a wonderful time, the kids really enjoyed it & we hope to come back when the weather gets warmer! A Site to Sea was better than we had hoped! Exactly as advertised and right on the sand. Gorgeous views and a beautiful home! A perfect romantic escape! My husband and I visited "A Site to Sea" this weekend, and it was the perfect spot for our time away together. The home was well maintained and comfortable, and the location was the best spot on the beach. The views from the deck were amazing, and there is nothing more relaxing than the sound of the waves as they hit the shore right out front. We are already planning our next trip down to Crystal Beach, and we will definitely stay here again. Of course, this time we plan on bringing the kids because it would be ideal for them as well.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

We could not have asked for a better weekend! The house is exactly as advertised, the pictures are 100% accurate. Access to the beach is as easy as walking across the yard, the views from the deck are second-to-none. There is a little bit of car traffic on the beach, more at night than during the day, but not enough to detract. The beach was well kept and not at all crowded. The owners and the property manager were quick to respond, and although we didn't need anything during our stay, it was comforting to know that the property manager lives so close. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, we will definitely be back.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We had an excellent time during our stay at "A Site to Sea"!! It is the closest house to the beach & so cute! My favorite parts about the house are the beautiful balcony that overlooks the ocean & the awesome porch under the house, complete with swings & a blue picnic table! The house was beautifully furnished & the kitchen had eveything we needed(other than things for the wedding). We are excited to come back next year!!Recommended for: Girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children.

This is the best beach house we have ever rented. Highly recommended! The owner provides easy and prompt communication. Excellent customer service. The house is right on the beach and it is immaculate. It is the perfect size and everything you need for the kitchen is available. Having the house manager nearby is such a plus. The TVs and everything work perfectly. The comforts of home away from home! The shower downstairs is also such a great addition to keep sand out of the house. The deck is wonderful upstairs and the patio and swings downstairs are great. There are restaurants and a big grocery store nearby if needed. It is a really great location and an excellent house that couldn't be in better condition. Hope to come back often!Owner response: Oh it's so good to hear to hear you all enjoyed A Site to Sea. Clean, resort quality rooms and linens. The rules were fair and easy to follow. The kitchen was functional and large. The patio was super relaxing with an amazing view of the ocean. Having a washing machine and dryer on hand was a super extra detail. The shower downstairs was fun and relaxing. My family and I had a great time hands down. We can't wait to go back. No good cellular service from my carrier but I didn't need my cell phone anyway ;).Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
