  This is one of the most beautiful units that I have ever come across, and you can expect exactly what you see from the owner's pictures and description. Stunning views from the balcony and windows, pristine clean in every way, tastefully decorated, quiet and secluded yet minutes away from shopping and the fun of South Beach. The location is second to none in my opinion, and the resort staff is among the very best we have ever dealt with in our travels... from the Front Desk to the Valet. My wife and I have stayed at some of the best resorts in the US and abroad, and this one is by far in the top 5% out there. On top of all that, the owner is a pleasure to deal with, flawless communications and no hidden surprises. You will not be disappointed.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

  I was a little nervous about what to expect but those concerns were quickly negated as soon as we got in. We stayed in the one-bedroom half of the suite (disconnected from the kitchen/living room/master bedroom). The place is very comfortable, well appointed, and was exactly what I was looking for. We were welcomed as if we were regular residents and everyone was very happy to help. The view is awesome! The shower built into the floor-to-ceiling windows was great. There is plenty of room throughout for two people, maybe even three (a child perhaps), but there is no real separation; this is more like a very nice hotel room. The beaches are wonderful, warm, sand is soft, and the water is clear. There are plenty of options within short driving distance for food and drink. The restaurant downstairs is a little pricey but quite good. Sam was very communicative and actually passed us in the hallway at one point, asking how everything was. Thanks Sam! A suggestion for those clumsy types like me...put the pillows at the foot of the bed to guard your toes; I kicked the bed posts twice in the first hour and they are vicious.

  this is the 3rd time I have used VRBO, and I was not disappointed. Selected this location for a celebration birthday weekend for my husband. As with most pictures, they did not do this unit justice. We exited the elevator to a small foyer, giving us a great sense of privacy, more than you would expect from a condo/hotel unit. Opening the door, we entered a very elegant, modern unit - to our left was the living room with large screen TV and work station, kitchen with modern, current appliances, dining area and balcony that faced the causeway and northern view of the beach & ocean; to the right was the master bedroom, amazing bathroom (complete with a TV in the mirror, tub, shower, toilet & bidet), and another balcony overlooking the city/bay. Everything was clean, clean, clean; the kitchen was stocked with dishes, silverware and glasses; soaps and lotions in the batroom. "Discovered" the 2nd bathroom in the entry foyer, as the leather "tile" wallpaper almost hid the door handle! Hotel dining was delectable; beach services (chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, food & drinks) were exemplary, and spa services were addictive. Sam was wonderful to work with - prompt with emails and return calls - reservation and registration processes were a breeze. We unexpectedly had an emergency situation that we thought would cause us to cancel, and Sam and his support team worked diligently to assist us with alternative possible solutions. A great relaxing weekend - definitley looking to return. Strongly suggest Makamoto for great oriental "tapas", and Cafe Prima Pasta for reasonably priced, absolutley the best, Italian food. Note - both serve large portions, so I would suggest don't go on your last night - otherwise you lose out on leftovers!

  I stayed at this apartment earlier this month and it was great. The apartment was beautiful and in a prime location. Sam helped me out with booking the apartment and was extremely helpful. I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for luxury apartments in Bal Harbour.
