I'm currently taking reservations for fall 2013. Late summer and fall is a great time to visit Galveston.
Our fully furnished and appointed vacation home is just steps to the sandy beach and the Galveston Fishing Pier. Enjoy watching the beautiful sunrise over the Gulf of Mexico while sippin that first cup of morning coffee on your private balcony.
The unit has just under gone renovations and is fresh and ready for you to enjoy your time on 'The Island'. If you haven't visited the 'New Galveston' recently you are missing a wonderful opportunity for a great time.
With the magnificent cruise ships now porting in Galveston, renowned island restaurants and the soon to be Pleasure Pier, there is always something to do on the island. Schlitterbahn and Moody Gardens are just minutes away.
Enjoyed the revitalized Galveston Downtown and Strand. If you're coming for Dickens, Mardi Gras, Art Walk or jusy to get away, Galveston is the place.
Fully furnished, sleeps 4 adults and in the bunks 2 kids with queen size sofa sleeper. 1 Full bath.
Kitchen is fully appointed. All linens and towels are provided. To protect our guests during their stay, all bedding is santized prior to arrival.
The unit overlooks the Gulf, Galveston Fishing Pier and 61st St Jetty's. 2 pools on grounds with 1 heated for year round swimming. Gazebo and barbeques available for afternoon grilling.
Ample secured parking for you RV or Boat. On premise security.
Spring/Summer rates ( includes all fees )
$95.00 - $175 per night with 3 night stay: Sunday to Thursday.
$120-.00 to $225 per night with 2 night stay: Friday and Saturday.
$600 to $1200.00 7 nights: Sunday to Sunday.
Holidays and special events will be slightly higher
Regrets, No Pets allowed.
1 night deposit to reserve fully refundable with 30 day cancellation notice.

Owner met us at check in and gave us a lot of great information about Galveston. The condo was cute, very comfortable and had everything we needed. It is centrally located and very convenient. We had so much fun- I wish we could have stayed longer. We are looking forward to staying here again!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Have previously stayed at the Casa Del Mar condos before but just rented from the main office. Wife found this condo that is rented directly from the owner. The units are the same size but the difference between inside aminities is night and day. This condo is really nice. Very nice furnishings, electronics and accessories. Much much much better that a regular unit. Overall we were very pleased. The location of the unit in the complex was perfect. Good view of the water. The location of the complex is the best on the island for active folks as it is on the corner of 61st and Seawall. Easy to get around and get back. Close to great beaches.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Tim was great meeting us within a few minutes of pulling into Casa Del Mar. Directions were great. Unit is towards the front of the property which made the view better. Bed in bedroom was very comfortable. There were two built in beds in the hall that we did not use and my daughter slept on the pull out couch. Lots of bath towels. Plenty of dishes/glasses/pots and pans if you do want to eat in the unit. We didn't use any onsite amenities as the beach was right across the street. We found some great local restaurants so were set for the two days we were in town. We enjoyed Eat Cetera in the Strand (try the prickly pear ice tea, yumm), Guidos and a chocolate caramel apple from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory. We spent a rainy afternoon at the rain forest pyramid at Moddy Gardens and had a fun and educational afternoon My daughter is a 2nd grade teacher so took many pictures to share with her class. Spent an afternoon down at the beach and had fun people watching. The group coming in after us ended up coming in a day later. Tim let us know we could check out a little later which was very accommodating of him. Nice place for the price.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

We stayed in this property over the Thanksgiving weekend. Can’t say enough good things about it! Impeccably clean, comfortable and in very good condition. Lots of attention to detail. The owner’s have anticipated most any of their guest’s needs. We will definitely stay here again. The owner’s are extremely welcoming! Well stocked with anything you could need. We drank coffee while enjoying our ocean view. The owner made the check-in and check-out process a breeze! There were 4 adults in our party and it was perfect for us (me, my husband, my brother and my niece). Enough room, enough supplies, close to everything Galveston have to offer. Nice and helpful owner. We had a wonderful time in Galveston. The condo was nice and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Tim was at the condo waiting for us when we arrived. They offered suggestions on places to go and see and told us we could call anytime we had any questions. About the owner: We are local Galvestonians and IBC's (Islander By Choice). We've lived in Galveston full time since 2008 and also own and manage a Bed and Breakfast on the Island. You're comfort is our primary goal. We can provide assistance and concierge services in planning that special get away from planning that romantic dinner to the special anniversary event.

Galveston is a vibrant community and a great place to live. We bought our first vacation home in Galveston in 2002 and made the decision to relocate to Galveston full time in 2008. Since then we have made many friends.
