Joy's Country Cabin is located in the beautiful rolling hills, on the southern edge of the Texas Hill Country. Overlooking a pond and surrounded by a cottage garden and several small farms, the setting provides tranquility and privacy, yet it's only minutes from shopping, restaurants and local attractions. The large front porch and garden area is the ideal place to relax and unwind. It's a great place to vacation, honeymoon or get away.
The living room is a circa 1850's log cabin which has been lovingly restored. The remainder of the house is newly built using old materials, giving the home a charming, rustic feel. It is furnished and decorated with country antiques, patchwork quilts and "Texas treasures."
Also on the same 80-acre property we have just furnished the 100-year old Farmhouse for a vacation rental. It is located on top of a hill and from there are fantastic views of the countryside. It has similar amenities as Joy's Country Cabin and is roomier so it can more easily accommodate larger groups.
