Comfortable lakefront cabin in quiet gated community of Elk Point. Enjoy immediate access to semi-private beach. Enjoy the late afternoon and early evening relaxing on the deck with a view of gorgeous mountain scenery, sunsets, and the south and west shores of Lake Tahoe.
Cabin sleeps 6 to 8. Main bedroom downstairs has queen bed and half bath. Upstairs loft is divided into 3 sections for visual privacy with one full/dbl bed, one set of twin beds, and a fold out double futon.
Elk Point is a unique area of Lake Tahoe. Enjoy the simple life of living in a small, quiet, community, or enjoy the night life of downtown shopping and casinos, only 10 minutes away. Groceries and other amenities only 1 mile away.
This cabin is perfect for retired couples and friends looking to get away, or for a family looking to spend quality time together. Having grown up here, and raised a child of our own I know this is the perfect vacation spot for a family with young children.

We've stayed here for one week during the summer for the last 18 years. The owner is very cooperative and the description is precise. The lake-view from the large dining area and deck is breathless. Easily a "Million Dollar" one and enjoyable day or night. The beach is large and sandy...plus very clean. It is wonderful for swimming, and just a few steps away from the house. We're booking in January for July of 2012 It's a value for this lake-view location. Casino and ski action is just five minutes away.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

Fantastic place. Quite and comfortable. Close to the beach, with great views.Great place to start outdoor activities such as biking and running from. I would recommend this cabin to anyone who loves Lake Tahoe.Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This is a beautiful, tranquil location with an awesome view across Tahoe toward Emerald Bay! The house is older, but charming and has been updated recently with a modern kitchen and bathroom, and insulation in the loft. The owners are friendly and helpful. The deck is a great place to hang out while cooking on the grill, or just to hang out. The back yard has just enough pine trees to keep it cool while not obstructing the view too much. A stairway from the back yard leads you down to a short boardwalk and onto a fabulous sandy beach with picturesque rocks, which is reserved for the exclusive use of the Round Hill gated community. The beach features a swimming area, a volleyball court, and a deck area that's great for group picnics or parties. For those with kayaks, the beach is also a great place to set off on a paddle up or down the coast or even across the lake to Emerald Bay! All in all, this is a special place for a Tahoe getaway!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

This cabin has been in our family since 1945. It is a very special place for me and my family. I feel fortunate to live close enough to make quick visits throughout the year. It is a pleasure to rent my home to people who enjoy the area and treat it with the same love and respect I hold for it.
