Apartment of 45 m2 consists of double bedroom, bathroom, kitchen,
dining room with sofa bed and a private garden outside. It is part of an 'Ancient Mill' of the seventeenth century, with stone walls and roof beams and connected to the Castello del Colle 'Castle Hill' through the 'Street of Mills'.
Along the perimeter walls flows the Cessana stream, running through a valuable area for its vegetation and shape of the bumps and weirs, as the 'Bozzo della Madonna'. you can get a nice cooling bath in the natural pools and waterfalls formed through the creek that runs along the walls of the mill among the vegetation. This property exceeded our expectations. Everything was clean and in working order. We used this as our base for a week. Irina helped us schedule our day trips and gave us suggestions for local events and restaurants that she thought we would enjoy. Our day trips included Pistoia, Siena, Monteregioni, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, Cinque Terre. Florence is close but we stayed there after leaving Irina's. On our days off, we would walk into town for espresso then visit the meat market for meat, cheese, fish, and olives(you can't beat the quality). Don't forget the bakery across the street from the meat market, her biscotti are wonderful. There is a grocery store in town too if you need other supplies. If you have time, step into the church in town and walk up to the castello. Beautiful views of the valley from the restaurant SanElena near the castello. We would definitely recommend staying here! It was the most relaxing part of our 17 day trip.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, age 55+, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

Very nice place- nicely furnished with paintings everywhere and quite comfortable for 2 people. For us nighttime stay-at-homes the tv selection was the best we had in Italy-even saw an SEC football game one day. Only interior drawback is lack of counter space and headroom in kitchen for 6'2" "Chef". Irina was very helpful and location is convenient to Lucca, Pisa, Firenze, and to other sights. A plus is the fact that it may be rented by the night if a week is too long. The small garden outside the door was nice except for rain & mosquitoes!Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+.

This was our first time for me and my wife in Tuscany. We could not be any happier with selecting this house for our stay. It is perfectly situated for daily trips to Florence by train and by car to Cinque Terre, Lucca, Pisa, Viareggio, Siena, Arezzo, Cortona, San Gimignano and Chianti. Irina was a wonderful host welcoming us with a delicious dinner and preparing breakfast the next day. The listing description was accurate regarding the location and the photos accurately reflected the the rentals appearance. The property was clean and well maintained and Irina was very helpful answering our questions. She made us feel at home and we will most definitely recommend the house to anyone seeking a trip to Tuscany.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

This apartment was the perfect place to stay in Tuscany! The rooms were beautiful-- there is a queen bed and a very comfortable futon couch, plus a full kitchen, TV, table, and wonderful view of the surroundings! It is very easy to travel by car to Lucca, Pisa, Portofino, even San Marino. We loved staying here, and the owners next door were so nice and welcoming! It is a bit difficult to get wireless through the thick walls, but other than that everything about this house is perfect!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway.

I can't say enough good things about this rental property. My husband and I stayed there 4 days and used the apartment as a home base to go to Florence, Chianti, Lucca, Viareggio, and Cinque Terre. The apartment was very clean and the perfect space for two. It had everything we needed, but if there was something extra we needed, Irina was very willing to help us. For example, when we went to the coast, she gave us beach towels to use since we didn't bring any with us. Irina is an exceptional hostess who pays attention to detail and is a fantastic cook too! The first night we arrived, we didn't feel like cooking or going out. Irina prepared a four course dinner for us with wine. Also, she made us breakfast the next morning which we enjoyed while sitting out on our front terrace. Irina is so warm and friendly, you feel right at home! The house is set off of a quiet road surrrounded by beautiful trees and greenery. I highly recommend this rental. If my husband and I ever make it back to Italy, we would stay here again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much, Irina!
