Our home will greet you from the moment you approach, like a cozy cottage tucked away from the bustling city life. The 1920's brick home was completely remolded in 2007 to surprise it's visitors with modern amenities and sleek lines that make living with ease a dream come true. There are 3 bedrooms, two on the main floor, one of which has water and mountain views, and one more bedroom upstairs. All are perfectly appointed with queen beds, luxury organic cotton linens, and down comforters to keep you cozy. There are 2 full bathrooms in our home, both featuring Ann Sacks floor to ceiling tile, and one with a luxurious and large WET soaking tub.
The chef's kitchen is perfectly outfitted and boasts Calcutta Gold countertops with all stainless steel appliances. Two ovens, microwave, dishwasher and stovetop all there to make cooking easy and enjoyable; you can store your ingredients in our oversize refrigerator. Better yet, let us know what you would like stocked upon your arrival and we will have your local and organic groceries there so you can enjoy your retreat. Prepare a meal while looking out at the water, or just pop open the bottle of local wine that will be there to greet you.
The best feature of our home is the plethora of outdoor space available to you. Relax on the adirondack chairs in the garden, enjoy a meal at the picnic table on the brick patio, watch the water while warm in our atrium, or enjoy expansive views of the sunset from the rooftop deck. On Seattle's cooler nights, we invite you to light the fire and look out at the water view.
The lower level media room will keep you entertained, should you choose to enjoy a movie on our large flatscreen tv with surround sound. Plenty of dvd's will be there for you, or rent from the redbox in Magnolia Village.
There is so much natural beauty that surrounds our home, and it is our hope that you find the interior to be a relaxing and luxurious compliment.

Seldom does the hype of something equal its reality. Pictures are always nicer, the view is never as good, the linens are never as crisp, the village center is never quite as quaint, the close proximity to the downtown isnt a jount but rather a journey. NOT HERE. The reality is FAR better than the hype. This darling cottage is soooo undersold. Completely remodeled the inside is new and fresh with class "A" finishes throughout (Viking stove, fridge, diswasher, greanite, ss appliances, hardwood floors, designer baths). Georgous views of the sound from the kitchen, diningroom, living room, sun porch and 2nd floor roof top decks dominate the home. Flat screens in the lower level, kitchen and masterbedroom. The TV's in the bedroom and kitchen werent working but we didnt care. Havent been to a VRBO that has been as nice.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

I can't thank you enough for your unbelievable hospitality during our week long trip to Seattle! We were so thrilled with our stay at your lovely home and couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment we arrived and opened the wonderful bottle of local wine that was waiting for us, to cooking in the gorgeous kitchen, we felt like we were staying at a Four Seasons Hotel perfectly appointed as a house in one of the most breathtaking neighborhoods I have ever seen. The easy access to Discovery Park is amazing for those of us who want to experience nature - I had one of the most beautiful runs of my life down to the lighthouse, as recommended by the owners. The convenience to downtown and all it has to offer was perfect. The neighborhood village was adorable and walkable. We travel the world for both business and pleasure and in all our experience, this is now in our top 5 most wonderful stays! We will be returning and staying much longer next time. Thank you for a wonderful Seattle experience!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Owner info
Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: We purchased the home in 2007 and immediately entered an extensive remodel of the entire home. We wanted to maintain the integrity and soul of the home while creating an aspirational environment for ourselves and others. We travel frequently and enjoy sharing our home with others who are interested in a luxurious Seattle experience.
Why the Owner Chose Magnolia:
We purchased the property as our home, intending to also use it as a vacation rental property. The views are stunning and the neighborhood is very tranquil. It's perfectly situated with access to downtown in minutes in one direction and remote Discovery Park in another.
The Unique Benefits at this Estate:
You will be inspired by the connection to nature through beautiful views, ample outdoor congregating areas on the property and easy access to the beach, park and walking trails. Cooking in the chef's kitchen is an absolute delight while watching bald eagles take to the Seattle skies. The unique lanai (partially enclosed outdoor space) allows you to enjoy being outdoors anytime of year. Our guests enjoy the rooftop deck that offers expansive water and mountain views and mouth watering sunsets.
